Pakistani police: 3 Germans arrested in raid

Three German citizens, including a German army colonel, were arrested in a police raid Saturday in the northern Pakistani city of Peshawar, authorities said.

Police official Mian Saeed said the three men had set up an office in the city without the permission of either the Pakistani or the German government.

He said police raided the office and asked the men to provide the necessary paperwork showing their legal status in the country. When they couldn't provide the paperwork, they were taken into custody, Saeed said.

      Philip:
      Where does it say anything about children getting nabbed in bobcat's posts?

      Kandi:
      I agree, but there are a lot of different theories out there.
      As a member of a "real victim's" family, there are a lot that people posting don't know, either....and I am unwilling to enlighten them, for they already think they know.
      And do you know what?
      I don't particularly care , either.
      That's all neither here nor there...the truth will out.

      @bobcat:
      I have to ask myself: what does all of this knowledge actually do?
      Does it make a person happier?
      Does it make a person healthier?
      Or does it make one a little bit more paranoid, unhappy, and just plain unwilling to embrace all of the good things life has to offer?
      Do people like this laugh?
      Do they have a sense of humor?
      Do they *enjoy* life...or do they revel in trying to make everyone unhappy?
      I am with you.
      If, as some say, there is nothing that can be done to stop the events supposedly in motion from happening, then why make yourself miseraable thinking about it 24/7?

      Live, laugh, love.
      I've got all three.
      How about you?

      PS: Are you working?
      Retirement day is coming soon for you, isn't it? Yay!

    Well my friend, I'm just going to let you be the one to fret over all of that. Myself, I'm going to continue to live my life the way I always have. One day at a time. Everywhere I look, I see people living a normal life as always. Once my freedoms start getting taken away, then I'll get pis sed.

    The real victim's families are continuing in their pursuit of Justice for their murdered family members. 911 Victim's family lawsuits name some very rich and powerful men from the Carlyle Group as well as some ultra-wealthy members of the House of Saud. All but a handful of the three thousand victim families acceptd Bush's 1/2 million dollar bribe to drop their lawsuits. A few brave American families turned down bush's cash in favor of Truth and Justice. I salute these genuine American Heroes who are alive. The dead are gone.

    Suit yourself, bobcat. I wouldn't worry about the neighbors kids getting nabbed either. As long as they weren't mine, one day at a time. Maybe things changed for my neighbors. But not for me. Right, bobcat? (and Bill W. was a thief, a cheat, a liar, and a satanist. Dr. Bob sure had it right. "Don't louse this thing up, Bill" were his dying words. Then Bill W. proceeded to louse it up bigtime)

    @kandi i choose not to fly because i feel uncomfortable with muslims on a plane.they can beef up security and molest children all they want,it still doesnt change the fact that muslims have been hijacking our planes for more than 30yrs.why cant they just say no muslims allowed?ya i know someone will pull the race card,but i really dont think rosa parks hijacked the bus and drove it into the building.so i will just stick with my car inside the continental united states.

    Odd, but everywhere I look I see inner city crime and violence, EQ's and tsunamis, Hurricane Katrina rubble, Gulf oil "spills", a weight problem now epidemic, a s ex problem now pandemic, boys getting ra ped right and left, expensive and illegal occupations of foreign nations, nations being robbed of their precious natural resources...their own leaders taking bribes from oil corporations and diamond brokers. And i see glaciers melting and receding faster than ever before, even on the geological timescale. I see 1/2 of the world's families sunsiding on less than 3 dollars per day and starved. But they aren't in debt. The obese nation is the one deep in debt. I see this as unacceptable. Just because I singlehandedly can't change it doesn't mean I have to accept it. I do have a voice.

    We all have voices, Philip.
    That also doesn't mean that your voice and what you say is any better than our voices and what we say.

    All things being equal, so are our voices.

    hamsta, do you have the same problems sitting next to a Baptist or a Protestant? Because I think you are once again confusing religion with nationality.
    Muslim=religion. Iranian=nationality.
    Baptist=religion. Polack=nationality.

    Do you need more examples?
    I will be more than happy to provide you with more.
