Latest attack on Nigerian church kills at least 3

At least three people were killed Sunday in the latest attack on Christian churches in Nigeria.

Police said a car packed with explosives rammed into the compound of the Cocin (Church of Christ) headquarters in Jos, police said.

Some church members emerged from the scene covered in dust.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the attack.

Nigeria has suffered a rash of attacks on churches in the past year.

In December, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in several northern states following a series of Christmas Day attacks on Christian churches.

Eighteen people were killed in the bombing of a church in Madalla, according to Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency. The militant Islamist group Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for that attack.

    I don't hate you, General.

You insult people here, also; expect to be insulted back when you insult people.

@ banasy, Easy to be dismissive when 'it's so far away' from you and your friends and family. It's one thing to make light when no one has been injured or killed, but that is not the case here.
I'd say who it is really hurting is the American culture in general, so yes, it affects me. There is always Facebook for fun and frivolity on desperate and serious issues.

We can't take credit for bombings in africa, but we've sure spread a lot of STD's over the years. Three people died from this "terrorist attack" today? More people than that die every single hour from American ho's (both male and female, professional and amateur) spreading AIDS and other "diseases" like alcohol and drug addiction. I guess if the hag lady in the mirror is ugly enough, focus on Africa.

Quite ironic, since you bring up Africa in your posts quite frequently, P.
Usually when we are talking about something American.
Guess you wanted to talk about something else today.
      Good night.

40,000 American's die each year from AIDS, that we know of. According to the CDC, AIDS is now *pandemic*...worse than epidemic...with fully 15% of the gay and almost 3% of the hetero community now have HIV, that we know of. Foreign terrorists are not the ones killing you. You are. (and your laws that allow you to be you)

it is totally unreasonable annd exaggerated response...but isn't it military protocol to burn all documents when moving out...so why did he media protest this as a hate crime?

85% of US citizens consider themselves to be "Christians" and believing that US troops fight for God&Country, even defending "God's chosen nation Israel". The US is in fact viewed as a Christian nation, with a growing number of pagans wanting God left out of things like bedrooms and marriage. President Obama swore on a Christian bible, not on pagan porno.
