Student shot to death at Mississippi State

Officials at Mississippi State University are expected to release more information Sunday about a 21-year-old student who was fatally shot in a campus dorm room.

The shooting took place late Saturday night in a room at Evans Hall, a dorm for male students in the northwest side of campus, said Bill Kibler, vice president for student affairs at the Starkville school.

The victim, whose name was not released, was shot more than once. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, Kibler said.

Three men were seen fleeing the area in a blue sedan, he said. The suspects did not appear to be university students, he said.

The shooting prompted the school to send out a campus-wide alert through a series of text messages.

      Ohhh Boy....

Here we go again. This nation spends trillions of dollars a year on military and foreign humanitarian aid due to floods, tsunamis, earthquakes and starvation. But, it is the fault of your brother that you are suffering. It is the food going into your, own, brothers mouth that turns you against him. And when he's lost his mind in sorrow over being a failure, its his drinking that causes you dispair.

You need to grow up because this Nation that you hate so much is not going to get any better until you make it better... and I mean every single one of us.

      With Love,
      Hope

  3. Arab Slavemasters

@Lee. Sure it matters. The US taxpayer shouldn't have to foot the entire bill for reparations. African tribespeople were sold into slavery by their own leaders for generations...around the globe. African governments should pay their fair share, but they aren't even being sued!

@arab slavemasters: who said anything about reparations? if your argument is about that, you are saying way too much.. if, in fact, you are the same person..

no one, in a free society, can be held accountable for the crimes of their forefathers. it's that simple.

I suppose some Arab held a gun to our forefathers heads to make them buy! Just like those were Arab and African ships that brought them here!

      ;D

Love to hear your meaningless chatter when you're asked to clarify yourself. Thr stories you can tell!

    Lee:

The person we are talking to doesn't believe that we should take care of our people. If you're mentally handicapped, if you're blind, if you're lame, if you're uneducated and especially if you are black; you should be shipped off somewhere... any where but here.

If you don't have a job, he says, good riddance.

    Great Scott!

      aaahhh..

what if you have a job, but you're looking for another..? or laid off through no fault of your own?

i think i saw a movie like that once.. considering any one of us could take a bump to the head, including him, and become blind, handicapped, et al, seems a dangerous position to take..

does he think if he changes his name, we'll agree with him? or is he just a flamer? must be the latter. and i don't mean gay, relax dude..

I love you... in a good way. You're so sweet and innocent, sometimes. Its like you're so down to earth, you can't fathom the hatred that exists in this world.

I used to get irritated about it, but now I cherish it.

    Hugs,
    Hope

oh, i can fathom it. i've come to the conclusion that there's nothing i can do about it.. but this..

so i blog and talk and talk and blog, hoping i'll reach just one person.. and if i don't, at least i've said my piece..

most haters disregard what i say, anyway. there's no changing them, any more than they are going to change me. it's still gonna be several generations before it's bred out.

my parents raised me this way, as their parents raised them that way.

      whatcha gonna do..?

  7. ???

    ...?
As much as I am confused as to where this entire conversation is going, there is an ominous discrepancy in the case of this 21 year old's death. I'll ask you this and I will ask you that:

How did three non-college students (that we know of) manage to slip past security and were able to enter and leave the poor young man's dorm room so quickly??? Do any of you find it strange that this was executed too well? I really hope this terrbile criminal act was not premediated because if it was premediated, then that really tells one something about the "suspects" if you know what I mean (e.g. organized crime). I could be very wrong, but that is just my opinion.

I was brought up in anreligious family most of my life. I had seen the seperation of blacks and other ethnic back grounds all my life and could not stomach it at all . Since i was about 6 yrs old i new the difference between right and wrong, and i knew da#m well that treating others differently was wrong regardless of race creed color ETC, was the worse thing that could occur in out time. I once saw a man hanging from a tree one day in tennesse and it was horrific!!!! To say the least. I walk down the street or get involved in any other activity and i see another human being. I dont see color ,ethnicity, or anything else there i see another living human being thats it! Crime does not discriminate, its those that creat crime that are bad regardless of who they are. If people would just open there eyes and wake up and see the human race for what it really is than this world and all people in it would all see one another as co- equals and no better than the next person .but unfortunately we have those people who are still ignorant to things around them! Listen up racists of the world you are ALL a dieing breed and soon you will not exist any more hatred has no boundries but a heart does not either but i you haters/racists have a heart than its black , its that simple, so if you have a black heart than why are you not looking at yourselfes in hate? You see ?
