Several of Kirk Cameron’s fellow child stars are now lashing back for comments he made about homosexuals. In March he told CNN’s Piers Morgan that homosexuality is unnatural, detrimental and ultimately destructive to many of the foundations of civilization. He also stars in newly released documentary where he speaks out on the topic. In a new Funny or Die clip, members of a group calling itself Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron, or CCOKC, try to poke holes in Cameron’s theories.
Cameron: 'Homosexuality is unnatural'
Kirk Cameron believes homosexuality is unnatural, detrimental and ultimately destructive to foundations of civilization. Hear more of his thoughts on the matter.
Former child stars lash back at Cameron
Several of Kirk Cameron's fellow former child stars do not support Kirk's stance on homosexuality and same-sex marriages. A group calling itself Child Celebrities against Kirk Cameron, or CCOKC challenged Cameron. Here's a little bit of what they had to say in their "Funny or Die" clip.
Comments on homosexuality spark debate
George Takei and Stephen Baldwin square off on Kirk Cameron's comments on homosexuality and the gay marriage debate. Baldwin supports Cameron. Takei says Cameron's beliefs have no place in the laws that govern the country.
Mr. Cameron
Please read this with a earnest heart and pray about it.
Romans 2:1
1)You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Matthew 7:1-5
1DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves.
2For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.
3Why do you stare from without at the very small particle that is in your brother's eye but do not become aware of and consider the beam of timber that is in your own eye?
4Or how can you say to your brother, Let me get the tiny particle out of your eye, when there is the beam of timber in your own eye?
5You hypocrite, first get the beam of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the tiny particle out of your brother's eye.
Luke 6:37
"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."
Proverbs 6:16-19
16)These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17)A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18)An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19)A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

So you believe these Bible quotes? Read the rest. The bible is not a buffet of your choice. I'd recommend Romans.
Mr Baldwin, Mr Cameron..... My Hat's off to you both. Don't sweat the haters...they're just gay
gee, mountain_bound, thanks for that insightful post
End The Hate is, by far, the best post I have seen here, and believe me, I muddled through them all.
Two points here:
1) With all of the former child stars and their antics today, one can hopefully say the following about Kirk Cameron. While his remarks are controversial, he is not one of those former child stars that has gone wrong
2) Regarding his comments and his chosen beliefs, they are his. He has to ultimately live with them. They are viewed as hateful by various groups, but those are his values. As long as he does not foment a violent revolution to overthrow a government, he has a right to speak his thoughts. Not agreeing with them does not mean that he can not say them. This is freedom.
Let people be as they CHOOSE to be as compared with being "born that way." However, when it comes to the "coming out" call for attention, my personal response is this: Your bedroom behavior is none of my business; don't make it my business.
I thought Kirk Cameron was Doogie Howser..........
Is Kirk Cameron running for president?
I hope so-he will get my vote.
so, worktolive, you are a one issue voter? bigotry is abhorrant
Is Doogie Howser running for president?
This is strange I made a post here and I can't even see it. I guess I wasn't meant to comment on this one lol
I just don't understand why his opinion matters. We are all human beings
Hats of to Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Cameron for finally standing up to those that keep
bullying other's about their own beliefs. For once somebody is standing up to those
that are screaming for the rest of the world to accept this so called 'lifestyle'.
so, tracy, you feel that unequal rights is something to be applauded? the only people who call it a "lifestyle" are those who object to it. do you feel that s-e-x-u-a-l orientation is a choice? if so, at what age did you make yours? if not, your bigotry speaks volumes about you.
Tracy: Both Mr. Cameron and Mr. Baldwin are welcome to their beliefs. Just keep them out of civil law.
Funny thing here, Tracy, is that you bloviate your bigotry and don't have the courage to support your opinion. Go ahead and feel all persecuted for Jeebus.
Also, Tracy: The point is not acceptance. It is equal rights. You can still hate gays all you want.
Neil Patrick Harris has more talent in his little gay fingers than Kirk Cameron will ever have!
Why don't we have separation of church and state when it comes to marriage? Let the churches perform the weddings and marriages and the state can be in charge of issuing or managing legal civil contracts. Why does one have to be connected to the other?
i think that a reasonable solution would be to have the state issue domestic partnership licenses to straight and gay couples, and that would be the thing that carries the legal weight. churches could then discriminate against who they wish. it wouldn't matter, as the church thing would be entirely ceremonial, holding NO legal status. this way, the state is not "redefiing marriage', which seems to be a major objection. it would just leave the ceremony to the churches. of course, some people would object to gays having the same legal status as straights, as some white folks had an issue with black folks having the same legal rights.
GOD should never be divided in anything in this world... so dividing the two is "totally" not the answer. You do not get it....This is NOT our final resting place. Have you ever seen anyone come back after dying? What we do in this world will have an effect on our life after this world. It is so simple... If only people would believe..
"Hats of to Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Cameron for finally standing up to those that keep
bullying other's about their own beliefs"
But denying people their civil rights is okay with you?
Marriage = defined by the church. Legal unions = defined by the state. They should be separate and only one should be legally binding. Keep your religion out of my state or perhaps you don't like your tax exempt status?
