Warren Buffett announces he has prostate cancer

Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett has disclosed he has been diagnosed with stage I prostate cancer, but says it is not life-threatening.

In a letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, the 81-year-old billionaire (pictured) said he received his diagnosis last week.

"The good news is that I’ve been told by my doctors that my condition is not remotely life-threatening or even debilitating in any meaningful way," Buffett said in the letter, which the company released Tuesday.

Well, I guess prostate is better than antistate. (the laughable 'Bueffet Rule' quick one that just got pulled. What? How much difference could taxing millionaire's an addition 5% make? Compared to realing-in the secret police, errr, agents.

I wish Mr. Buffett nothing but the best. Cancer doesn't care who you are, how much or little money you have or what race you are. Hopefully he pulls through.

Last week in Montreal some of the most prominent oncologists or cancer specialists met in Montreal, where it was reported that a cancer vaccine is quite effective and this mostly with respect to prostate cancer. Why is it then that this does not seem to be taken into account in this story.

With all the anti-rich tax talk Buffett's been doing the last year, I imagine only half our country is praying for a recovery.
