One day this 43 yr. old drunk walks into the Social Security office and files for early disability. After testing his physical health and researching his work history, the man is told he should stop drinking/drugging and go get a job. So the man hires a late night TV lawyer and sues the good hard-working/taxpaying citizens of the United Staes of America, and is awarded 930 bucks/mo. for life, plus a 99% discount on all the pharmaceuticals he can consume. Ha ha. Very funny.
Reminds me of the knock-knock about the banana...keep them coming.
Spread your sunsine, Rawr.
Earth day. Just another day for the environmental whackos to spread their propaganda!
lol @ bobcat just what the doctor ordered. And banasy congrats on the white sox! And mary, better call guiness on that cat lol. And philip, you make a very good educator but you should probably leave the jokes to bobcat.
Man, this puts some things in perspective. I try to be consciencious, but with stats like these, it almost feels pointless. Humans aren't gonna be happy til we've just ruined our own home.If we haven't already. Depressing.
Hey chrissy! Looks like we both came on at the same time..GMTA!
lol raven, you inspired me! Needed a break from spring cleaning, & the negative one in the drive by room. & ive been rather discouraged with CNN lately & wouldnt you know my first post @ 9:07 is awaiting moderation! And im still chuckling about marys cat!
Ikr, chrissy? I have a cousin whos a major alky, been fired a kabillion times from (some) really cushy jobs. Just got on disability for (ahem) "depression". But, my OTHER cousin who works his butt off, can't AFFORD to get sick, cuz insurance is so dang spendy.
@chrissy:
Oh, I think it's one of those folksy little stories that gets passed around, but has absolutely no basis for fact....my dad used to tell me these kinds of little fables, too.
Either that, or it's a joke, like bobcat's jokes.
Idk banasy, i do know drug addicts get it! That irritates me to no end. For one thing it not only enables them but we get to foot the bill on top of it. Definitely needs some reform.
marys cat?
Or the dream of the cat? On the other thread?
@ chrissy: I see a post @9: 07, but it's addressing the fact that ANOTHER post is awaiting moderation...
@ chrissy
I had had one of my jokes moderated and removed earlier today. Cnn obviously took UMBRAGE with it. Hey< I'm kinda getting to like that word. UMMMMBRAGE. It kinda rolls off the tongue, you know ?
How in the world did this get down here ? It was on the other page a little while ago. How strange.
H@chrissy:
Yeah, the look on Phillip Humbers face when he realized he pitched a perfect game...he fell to his knees...it was a great moment for him, and the WS!
