Junior Seau's funeral plans to be announced

Funeral arrangements may be announced Friday for Junior Seau, a day after authorities said that the football icon committed suicide.

The San Diego County medical examiner's office Thursday classified the death of the former NFL linebacker as a suicide, but the finding will probably do little to answer questions swirling since he was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

Toxicology results and the narrative that could reveal contributing factors in the death could take weeks or longer to complete, said Sarah Gordon of the medical examiner's office.

Since news broke that Seau was found Wednesday in his Oceanside, California, home with a gunshot wound to the chest, there has been speculation about whether repeated hits to his head over his 20-year pro career could be a contributing factor.

He died from a bump on the head. The reason he didn't shoot himself in the head was so his brain would be intact and could be used as evidence proving this. Duh.

Odd how it took weeks to determine Whit Houstons cause of death, but with Junior it's labeled a suicide pronto. If you are so blind so as not to see this, grow some eyes.

I have observed even HS football coaches telling kids "You ain't hurt. Get back in there and play, son." This neanderthal game strategy only works on steroid kids, and the 'no-pain no-gain' morons. Others die.

I played football throughout my school years. I played first string cornerback and second string tailback my final year. (1975) The next season I lost my starting cornerback position to this muscle head named Bob Redmond who had been playing second string corner. He began using steroids that offseason, and the next year he was a superstar neanderthal. We still laughed at him in the shower though. Poor little feller, me.

And this story should be sending everyone a message: People who are on the brink...the very edge of wanting to live...your own son, your own brother...they will seem to be perfectly fine even the day they take their own lives, just as Junior Seau was.
RIP Mr. Seau. Be seein' ya.

This case reminds me of the world's most successful pediatric heart surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Drummond-Webb. Even though he never drank booze or owned any guns, authorities found him dead at home laying next to a shotgun and a half-empty bottle of booze. His death was officially labeled 'suicide' theat very same day.
In the following months it was revealed that Dr. Webb had discovered that the AIDS relief drugs the US had been donating to Africans were placebo. He had a close friend in Washington DC, a congressman, whom he shared this informaation with, and was found dead the next day.
Anytime you see deaths labeled 'suicide' the same day, raise an eyebrow.

...like when a White Plains NY flatfoot cop yells 'N/gger! and then shoots a man to death. When you see a grand jury clearing the cop right away, raise an eyebrow.

    Toxicology reports takes weeks.
    Always have.
It took weeks to WH's report to come back.

    My sympathy to his family.

Sympathy for Mr. Seau. Look at the abuses he endured from his own [football] family.

...you and his family will be just fine. You didn't die. Someone's son did. Get it? Nope. And probly never will.
