The rocket engines of SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft fired, and then abruptly stopped as the countdown to launch reached zero on Saturday. The shutdown caused SpaceX to abort launching the private unmanned spacecraft to the International Space Station.
Both NASA and SpaceX want Dragon to be able to deliver cargo to the station, bringing food, water and other provisions to the station's crew. The possibility of this launch was regarded as historic for sending private spacecraft into orbit.

The space shuttle program has been scrapped. @banasy, I forgot was real pizza tasted like until I came back to New York. I used the chefs name and was able to take pictures of the real deal and toss the dough. They sent me on my way with a great pizza of which I could barely eat 1 slice.
at pizza hut we use frozen dough... all the food is processed and fake..

As commercial enterprises gain a foothold in space faring technologies they will usher in the new economy. Overpopulation, economics, energy, education issues will become a thing of the past. Space travel is the answer to all our earthly problems at which time we will realize we are all alone in the cosmos, alien life simply does not exist anywhere but Earth...wha?! what's that?!....THE COWS!!!!

I worked in state government for nearly 30 years. You want an effect space program get the private and government sectors working together on it. They each have resources and abilities the other doesn't. I've seen some great things happen when both are involved.
