Jenna Talackova, the 23-year-old woman who forced Donald Trump and his Miss Universe Canada pageant to end its ban on transgender contestants, fell short of the national title Saturday night at the pageant in Toronto.
The crown went to Sahar Biniaz, an Indian-born, Iranian-raised actress from Vancouver. Biniaz, 26, will represent Canada at the Miss Universe pageant in December, according to the Miss Universe Canada website.
Talackova didn't walk away from the pageant empty-handed. In addition to finishing among the top 12 semi-finalists, Talackova tied with three other contestants for the title of Miss Congeniality.

thank you mickey, not to mention that it was written by man, so its not the word of god.
Even though their followers claim it is the word out god. Of course Muslims believe their book is divine, morons, i mean mormons believe their book is divine. They can't all be right.
disgusting!!! the degradation of society begins with the degradation of gender roles
I'm pretty sure I'm a dolphin born into a human body. Im just gonna go ahead and have have surgery to make me look like I feel. don't hate me cause I'm transpecies
@hamsterette
When is your surgery scheduled for by the way? Best wishes and a speedy recovery to you. Don't worry I've been using your new name for a while now so people get used to it. Hahahahahaha
TIED for Miss congeniality? They should have a fistfight to determine the winner. Not very congenial, I'll admit, but I don't like ties.
This entire situation is a joke, there is no thing as transgender, its a totally made up word. This so called "woman" has an X and a Y chromosome. He is a man, whether he likes it or not. When will the world stop giving into these people and tell them the way it is. A man should not be allowed to enter a beauty pagent, period. It doesn't matter if you chopped off your package, you still aren't a woman. You are a deeply troubled individual who needs lots of therapy. Why do we as a society need to conform to your rules? You are the exception not the norm, deal with it.
Just when you thought that pageant contestants couldn't get more "Fake", now they aren't even women. If I dress up a mannequin and parade it around can it compete? What self respecting woman would enter one of these horse shows? Oh, sorry I answered my own question.
