  2. Missouri?

Isn't that where nightime curfews had to be imposed by local police to keep Mizzouans from robbing each other after tornados?

They do that whenever there is a disaster. People loot after hurricanes, earthquakes and tornato's.

Instead of hiring, corporations sit on bundles of cash. So in effect ,snap is simply more corporate welfare from taxpayers.
Needing assistance from the supplemental nutrition assistance program is degrading and demeaning. Average people would much rather work. Unfortunately the transfer of wealth and physical assets to the greedy is not yet complete. When it is, assistance to the needy will end.

One of our local stations just busted a guy living in a 1.5 million dollar home with getting food stamps. Not long ago he also busted the some wealthy people buying land, saying it was a farm and collecting substi–ties from the government. So do not go there. I think there are wealthy people who take there share and do not need it.
In Mississippi there were 1.7 million that got food stamps after the tornato. I assume they will need it for years to get back on their feet. Not to mention the tornato's in Missouri, OK., ILLinois, Indiana, Tenn, Georgia and Arkansas.

It would be nice indeed, if we could get some other countries tax payers to make the contribution Karzai is so grateful for.
Not to mention the sacrifice of men and women in our armed forces and their families.
Bin Ladin is dead. Saddam Hussein is dead.
Pull the plug on the nonsense in Afghanistan. Do it know. We having rotting infrastructure in this country. Take care of America.

@protesters. Go home. China will be putting Beoing out of business soon, just like they putt Kellog Brown&Root (used to make nuclear powerplants) out of business. Be patient. Go home. ty

1.2 Chinese can't be wrong. Plus they own AMC theaters now and a majority of the mineral rights in south west US.
Thank you wal mart for providing the vehicle Republicans needed to sink folks into abject poverty and indentured servitude while fat cats break the social contact and hoard cash.

When war veterans start tossing their medals in the street at protest against wars in Chicago declaring them 'representation of hate' 'lies' and as 'cheap tokens'. And protests are brutally suppressed. Its time for this nation to take a break from their self induced stupor and think.
    Good morning all.
And welcome to another day of our news media playing the same old game of keeping us focused on what is happening elsewhere beyond our borders.

An elderly woman goes to the doctor. She says, "Doc, it's terrible, I pass gas all the time. Fortunately, it's odorless and silent, otherwise I'd be mortified. For example, I've passed gas ten times just since we've been talking, but it's odorless and silent so you can't tell." The doctor gives her some green pills and tells her to take one a day and come back in a week.

The woman comes back after taking the pills for a week. She says, "Doc, there's been a change but not for the better. I still pass gas all the time, but while it's still silent, now it smells terrible!"

The doctor says, "Well, I'm glad we cleared up your sinus blockage, now we'll have to work on your hearing."

@bobcat(iah) I've heard this classic before but the ending was something like first we'll fix your nose then we'll work on your ears. This might have been a Woody Allen thing. LOL

For those of you happy with the way things are and don't like "change" of don't mind your personal liberties being stripped away one sneaky bill at a time, then please, by all means vote for Obomney. If you choose to vote for either one and the continuance of the status quo the shame on you for further stripping away the Republic Ron Paul is trying to return to your children. Mute the speeches, look at the broken promises and bold faced lies then cast your vote. I dare you.

Dharun Ravi should not have gotten 30 days. He did not make Tyler Clementi kill himself. The man Tyler was gay with didn't kill himself. He had a choice.
