An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 hit north central Italy on Tuesday, civil protection authorities said, nine days after a major quake in the region left seven people dead.
Civil protection officials told CNN there were fatalities in Tuesday's quake, but they said they did not yet have a confirmed number of dead.

So sorry to see this happening to a beautiful country like Italy. Love and prayers to everyone affected by this disaster and their families.
That was a completely unnecessary thing to say. The Roman Catholic Church as well as any other religion is infested with ill-minded and completely cynical people, but that is no justification for your naive comment. I don't know what religion you may pertain to but I'm completely sure yours as well has followers who commit the horrible crimes you accuse only the Vatican of having. Show respect for the innocent, honest and faithfuls that are part of this church.
Are you crazy? In Italy there are a lot of problems (in politic in particular), but announcing a disaster that could involve a lot of people is not a good and sane way of thinking
This message was directed to that of a person who invoke almost an earthquake that could destroy Italy, just for his aversion to the italian politic and to the Vatican (aversion probably shareable, but not enough to invoke the death of innocent souls).
Mt Vesuvius is only located 361 miles south of all this earthquake activity. I can only hope it does not awake the sleeping giant. Viva Italia
