A few years ago, 7-year-old David DeVore Jr. became a YouTube sensation after his father posted a funny clip of him recovering from a trip to the dentist. The video has been watched more than 100 million times. Now, a newcomer named Matthew Russell is attracting the same type of attention with his post-anesthesia "hilarity." Watch how these kids have become viral video stars.
See why this boy's humorous reaction to anesthesia became a YouTube hit.
David explains what it feels like to become a YouTube sensation.
Am I the only one that finds these videos disturbing?
Obviously you are you are dope, get a sense of humor...
Yes, you're the only one.
So glag you said that. I found disturbing as well.
No, you're the only one without a sense of humor. You probably had a bad childhood. Sorry
Frankly, I sort of did too. Nothing horrible. This would certainly be funny to the immediate family, but I don't think it needed to be shared with the rest of the world.
Perhaps the video would be less disturbing for you if the kid was in agony from not having received any pain medicine?
Not so much distubing as just plant idiotic. Your kid is coming out of anesthesia – just be there for them and not film it for everyones entertainment. I don't find it funny and I have a great sense of humor. When my kid got her wisdom teeth pulled it was cute, but I didn't have my camera up and ready to film. Morons.
There are too many SICK parents in AmerCIA these days. I'm sick to my stomach to see a recovering child in this state. Will the parents be outrage if any of the hospital staff have done this and posted on the web? Heck NO! They will be suing for $Trillions in US corrupt Court system and producing crocodile tears on CNN for World sympathy. Shame on anyone who encourages this nonsense. Should this happen in my family; grannies will right at the door with frying pans and walking sticks to crack someone's brains. They will be happy to go jail for this nonsense on principles.
Probably not considering America is full of uptight, self righteous morons
Hahahaha! That article and the video is so funny.
Who are you calling a dope?
I hate kids!
Thank God for that.
common ppl they are not going and getting their kids high they are getting medical procedures and filming the effects of anesthesia this is funny they are not condoning drug use in anyway get off ur high horse. u PC soccer moms are killing me its funny.
But I guess if David feels like a "rock star" it's okay.

Here's an idea: put the camera down and take care of your kid!! Geez. If someone went to a nursing home and filmed the elderly after anesthesia, folks would be calling for him to be arrested – but if it's a child, it's entertainment? Disgusting.
SICK psycho parents. How in the HELL can you do this to own son.
It's NO different to what Dr. Conrad did to Michael Jackson in a blackmail tape recording.
At least the big orange thing on his arm was actually there as opposed to when this happened to me.
HaHa... I want some videos of 90 year olds with dementia pooping in their pants and more videos of funny people getting hit in their private parts.. HaHa now that is some funny stuff !!!
Disturbing...seriously? This is the funniest thing Ive seen today! Put down the camera and take care of your kid? What.....exactaly are they supposed to be doing? He's waking up from anestesia and in a hospital bed. Please, can you be specific about how they should be taking care of him??? Im curious now.
Um.....how about talking to him. Telling him everythings going to be okay. How about lovingly rubbing his good arm, giggling among the FAMILY and not filming it for mo's like you who thinks this stuff is just "TOO FUNNY"
Couldnt agree more! Heard it on a local radio station and cracked up. As far as helping, looks like to me they did by taking him to the hospital!
Are you really that stupid? I hope you're not a mother! Holding the kid's hand, letting them know it's ok, laughing with them (not AT them, video camera in hand), asking the child how he's feeling, offering him something to eat/drink (if the doc says it's ok), etc. Wow. Please never have children! You know you have to feed and bathe them too, right? Good grief. You're the perfect example of the lowest common denominator in America.
There is no way that is "just from the medicine"......
