A few years ago, 7-year-old David DeVore Jr. became a YouTube sensation after his father posted a funny clip of him recovering from a trip to the dentist. The video has been watched more than 100 million times. Now, a newcomer named Matthew Russell is attracting the same type of attention with his post-anesthesia "hilarity." Watch how these kids have become viral video stars.

Anyone who says that is "disturbing" or "psycho" seriously needs a sense of humor. IT'S FUNNY!!! Stop getting offended over EVERYTHING. What a waste of time. My son had some teeth extracted last year (he's 10) and he sang Christmas songs (in October) and crowed like a rooster while coming off the meds. It was hilarious and he loves the story. If I'd caught it on film he would have wanted everyone to see it. You guys are get too up tight. Geez.
And yet one preacher's family, along with Sarah Palin's ghost writer, got rich off a fraudulent child-exploitation book, "Heaven Is For Real," which was simply the over-interpretation of the experiences of a young boy under the effects of general anesthesia
I HIGHLY doubt these ppl were trying to exploit their kids. Ppl have to find something negative to say no matter what. Something cynical all the time. What a miserable way to be. I bet you all just hate America's Funniest Home Videos. OH the horror.
Tonya, America's Funniest Home Videos is horrible. And if it is highly doubted that the parents didn't want to exploit their kid, how is posting a youtube video not exploitation? They certainly wanted to draw attention to the situation. They just shouldn't assume that the whole world wants to see it.
Stupid people with nothing purposeful to do.
YESSSS!!!!
Stay off drugs!!
Hahaha, good stuff
Actually, it's a bit annoying.
It's a LOT annoying. Doesn't CNN have anything actually newsworthy to fill its site?
Mhmm
AHAHAHAHAHAH!!! That is TOO FUNNY!!!! Whew, about blew up laughing. Got any vids of senior citizens coming out of anesthesia? I bet those would be even funnier.
Wow, amused easily? It was funny, sure, not THAT funny though.
this is no different than taking a picture of your kid doing something funny, does that make a bad parent? those of us who have kids (i have four) try to find humor in everything. get a grip people this is funny!
Amy, if it is funny to you great! But why would you want to post this on the internet? Almost seems like a call for attention!
Awesome and funny
Sorry, but it sounds like an Adam Sandler bit.. It's appeals to people who find moronic behavior hilarious.
It's only probably funny if you know the kid.
This is not only disturbing, but, a blatant show of disregard for their child's dignity. Furthermore; Neglect, of letting their child receive meds when they themselves have *no* clue what's in those Pharmaceuticas.
So...kids should get broken bones set and teeth pulled without any meds? That's a bit harsh.
Knowing what's in the meds is the point folks. stop inputting your thoughts on what my post is saying.
How do you know that they don't know what is in the meds?
And yet one preacher's family, along with Sarah Palin's ghost writer, got rich off a fraudulent child-exploitation book, "Heaven Is For Real," which was simply the over-interpretation of the experiences of a young boy under the effects of general anesthesia.
Kids are annoying enough without trying to act even more stupid for the videocamera. And what kind of parent thinks it's cute and posts it? And shame on CNN for putting it on their site!
Honestly I just do not understand parents that want to post such things on youtube. It may be funny, but I question whether they "innocently" post such stuff on youtube or are they doing it to get fame and make a few $$
Hilarious !! Kids are funny anyway as they are growing up and all the things they say !! Lighten up people we need something to put a smile on our face !!!
