Top senators call for hearings after recent leaks of classified information

Top senators are calling for a hearing on the  "continuing leaks of classified information" allegedly from the White House after a recent  media report detailed a U.S. cyber warfare targeting Iran's nuclear facilities.
A report in The New York Times on Friday  provided classified details of the U.S cyber attack.
Since the beginning of his term, President Barack Obama secretly ordered cyber attacks targeting computers that run Iran's nuclear enrichment facilities, the Times reported, attributing the information to the program's participants.
Senators John McCain and Dianne Feinstein, a Republican and a Democrat respectively, discussed the possibility of holding  hearings to address the leak of information.

      Evil democrats deliberately leaking national security secrets for political gain, to paint limp wrist Obama, failed community organizer, as tough on national security.

      Ironically, the only way Obama is showing success are in those ways he's continuing Bush's policies. Every new idea he's had – failed. Failure. Loser.

    I have absolutely zero security clearance (in fact, its so low I have to get my news from CNN). But, if you asked me if the US was using cyber-attacks to spy on foriegn governments (friend and foe), I would answer "of course they are". This is not a security leak, its a common sense leak. And we all know the senate is highly unfamilair with common sense, thus their confusion...

    Every country worth its name is engaged in Cyber 'warfare' against foes and friends, or trying to acquire this 'weapon'. Though we like to term it cyber terrorism (unless used by us).
    @Gee
    Perhaps you missed following news.
    It was Israel which successfully and repeatedly used cyber attacks on Iran. the now notorious worm 'Flame'. Besides assasinating Iran's scientists and training,financing and arming a dissident group in Iran. To carry out such attacks. The US has been doing it for some time.

      Talk about locking the barn door after the horse is stolen! Surely the Iranians have known all along, as well as Senators McCain and Feinstein, who has been attacking their cyber setup. Who but the USA and Israel? What is to be gained by keeping it "secret" now that everyone in the world knows?

    Who in their right might wouldn't think that the major players aren't using the cyber world to play Spy vs. Spy?
