Holder, Issa to meet about 'Fast and Furious' before possible contempt vote

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is expected to meet with a House committee chairman Tuesday about turning over documents that might postpone a contempt vote for the nation's top prosecutor.

Holder and Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California, are scheduled to meet to discuss Issa's demand for more documents relating to "Operation Fast and Furious," a federal firearms investigation that allowed hundreds of guns to reach Mexican drug gangs. Issa is the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Issa has offered to postpone a contempt vote if Holder followed through on an earlier pledge to turn over some of the documents, but Holder said Monday that he wasn't willing to deliver the records before a meeting and wanted key Democrats to take part.

In a letter back to Holder late Monday, Issa said he won't be able to decide whether to put off the scheduled vote on a contempt motion without seeing the documents beforehand. And he complained that the Justice Department has failed to turn over a record of what documents it is refusing to hand over and why.

There is a lot more to this issue than just a misjudged call upon some weapons program, my gut tells me a whole lot more.
When ever a cabinet position leader wants closed door hearings and the President is backing it, the stench level of an State and Executive Office program outside of any congressional knowledge.
One that most assuredly would have political repercussions for possibly nation and especially the Presidency.
When a program that not even was known by the Mexican Governments intelligence and Drug Enforcement is going down, whose individual and geopolitical advantage was the program for.
To you whinnys and ninnys in the no democrats want to limit arms, the Clintonistas and Brady bunch were sure active about american weapons south of border, that is until scandal of. a dead U s agent being hit.
That and the turmoil reeks to high heaven on weapons sales and tje technology boys of private contractors
We will never know full story; And dats the true story!

FACT: 80% of illegal weapons confiscated by Mexican authorities have either 'Made in the USA" or "Made in Israel" stamped on them.
Send the CIA to Israel undercover and get those men doing this. ALLOW the CIA to operate on domestic citizens and hunt-down each and every American citizen involved in this.
We have treaties with Mexico that would have to be altered in order for US CIA to do this. No such treaties exist between Israel and the US.
go into Israel undercover you CIA, and get those Israelis who were in cahoots with egypt's Mubarek running guns around our world.

"Where there's smoke there's fire;" and if it smells like "crap' it is usually "crap".
    Specifics?
The Brady and Clumtonista nloggers dites are all one needs to read, they are so full of own hubris they indeed are like the gossipers
