George Zimmerman – a Florida man charged with murder in the February shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin – was released from jail on Friday, a day after a judge set a new bail amount.
A Florida judge on Thursday set a $1 million bail with new restrictions on Zimmerman (pictured), saying he believes the suspect may have been planning to flee the country to avoid prosecution in the killing of Martin.
Zimmerman's previous bail – $150,000 – was revoked last month after the judge learned Zimmerman and his wife had failed to disclose more than $150,000 in donations from the public.
Leading up to the judge's decision Thursday, Zimmerman attorney Mark O'Mara asked the judge to set the same $150,000 bail amount that he granted in April. Prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda countered that Zimmerman should remain in jail without bail because he was complicit in lying to the court and can't be trusted.

He will not get convicted. There is no doubt in my mind that he killed in self defense. If he had no wounds maybe he would have no claim to self defense. As soon as I saw the photos I changed my mind about the eposode and realized that he indeed killed in self defense.

The "black community" didn't seem too upset about ignoring the hundreds of young black men who have been murdered by other young black men in the months since Trayvon assumed room temperature.

Are you serious? I do believe that the black community has not been ignored at all in this entire disaster. It's so ridiculous for you to even say that. That is all that has been discussed is how this trial affects the black community. Everyone decided long ago he was guilty of murder BEFORE his trial. I still believe in the rights of citizens–guilty or innocent, Americans have the right to a fair trial. I'm not sure this guy even had a chance at a fair trial from the beginning.

Let the process take it's course and stop feeling like there are hidden agendas and motives behind every decision that you don't agree with.

So George Zimmerman "started" the fight and has no injuries on his hands. He does have injuries to his face and the back of his head.
And Trayvon was the "victim" yet had no injuries besides the fatal gunshot wound. Oh, and the wounds on his knuckles.
The physical evidence supports Zimmermans's claim of being assaulted. And shows nothing at all to support your wishful thinking about Zimmerman being the aggressor.
He unnecessarily created a situation that ended with him killing a kid. That alone warrants jail time.

I sincerely don't see it that way. Z did nothing illegal. He called the police and watched a suspiscious character. If, in your world, someone looking at you justifies you attacking them, then I don't want your world.

Trayvon Martin unlawfully initiated an assault.
Trayvon Martin used potentially deadly force when he started smashing Zimmerman's head into a concrete sidewalk.
Zimmerman did what any police officer in that situation would have done: he lawfully used deadly force in order to stop a deadly CRIMINAL assault.
To bad the LAW won't see it that way numb numb. Once travon touched him, it doesn't matter what lead up to it. Assult is Assult and defendable with deadly force PERIOD I confronted a guy sneaking around my home at 3am wearing all black, he knew I was serious and we talked it out, turns out he was my neighbors friend in from out of town and he went on his way. Yes, I was EXTREAMLY aggressive when I confronted him. He was smart and complied. He lived to see another day, unlike travon.. Stay classy libs! LOL
