George Zimmerman – a Florida man charged with murder in the February shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin – was released from jail on Friday, a day after a judge set a new bail amount.
A Florida judge on Thursday set a $1 million bail with new restrictions on Zimmerman (pictured), saying he believes the suspect may have been planning to flee the country to avoid prosecution in the killing of Martin.
Zimmerman's previous bail – $150,000 – was revoked last month after the judge learned Zimmerman and his wife had failed to disclose more than $150,000 in donations from the public.
Leading up to the judge's decision Thursday, Zimmerman attorney Mark O'Mara asked the judge to set the same $150,000 bail amount that he granted in April. Prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda countered that Zimmerman should remain in jail without bail because he was complicit in lying to the court and can't be trusted.

I would like to see the community that Trayvon lived in from fenced off until the verdict.
Trayvon had it coming; you could just look at this kid and know he was never going to amount to anything except a state dependent thug. Now if only a few thousand more trayvons would happen.

I highly doubt they will burn the city and riot... it's a backwater town in the middle of Florida. There aren't a whole lot of people there except for retirees, mosquitoes, and alligators. It's not like LA where people are just LOOKING for an excuse to loot. Accordingly, the verdict will come down and not one golf game will be interrupted.
OMG this guy keeps getting so many chances and Trayvon did not get a chance. OMG I am stunned how he can come up with all this money. He might be able to get away with it down here but there is a higher power that he will have to take responsibilitly and tell the TRUTH.

Yes, a chance to confront a vigilante thug. If Zimmerman was much of a man it would have been a fight, not the murder of an unarmed teenager.
Trayvon had multiple chances.
He had the chance to go home when he ran from Zimmerman. Instead he doubled back and confronted Zimmerman.
Then Trayvon had the chance to respond to Zimmerman like a law-abiding person. Instead he chose to lay hands on Zimmerman and deliver some violent criminal thug-justice to a smaller person.
And then Trayvon had the chance to halt his criminal assault on Zimmerman. Instead he escalated the assault to attempted murder, smashing Zimmermans's head into a concrete sidewalk repeatedly.
Trayvon had plenty of chances and he threw them all away in favor of acting like a thug.
Good riddance.
What do you mean chances? Were you there? Do you know for a fact he is guilty? Have you seen the evidence? Why do so many want to believe what is in the media. Get a clue. Remember this. Believe None of what you read and Half of what you see. The media is all hype. The courtromm will be all fact, or at least the best they'll be able to come up with. He may very well be guilty, but let the jury decide not some website. Don't be fools!

JUSTICE for George Zimmerman. He should not even have had to pay bail a second time or have it revoked! He is an innocent man. And if it was really his money, why did the judge say that he was using 'other people's money' in the legal notes of his bond hearing transcript? Make sure you find his legal defense site and donate what you can, I did!
