Wade Michael Page, who police say fatally shot six people in a Sikh temple in Wisconsin on Sunday, died that day from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head after he was shot in the stomach by a responding officer, Teresa Carlson, the special agent in charge for the FBI in Milwaukee, said Wednesday.
Police previously said that he was shot to death by an officer responding to the attack in Oak Creek.
Page, a 40-year-old Army veteran who neighbors say played in a so-called hate-rock band, was the lone gunman in the rampage at the temple, police said.

My first reaction to the second cop taking down the suspect with one (or maybe two) shots in the heat of the moment was 'Wow, that suburban policeman was a REALLY good shot'. No time to aim like a sniper. Although I'd rather think that the cop succeeded, the shooter shooting himself is more logical.
After they retrieved the bullets, they knew which gun had fired each one.
Don't hate this man. Pity him and pray for his soul. Hate only inspires more hate. This was such a tragic and senseless act, but let's come together over our mutual desire for peace and good will towards our neighbors, not as an angry mob.
