Wade Michael Page, who police say fatally shot six people in a Sikh temple in Wisconsin on Sunday, died that day from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head after he was shot in the stomach by a responding officer, Teresa Carlson, the special agent in charge for the FBI in Milwaukee, said Wednesday.
Police previously said that he was shot to death by an officer responding to the attack in Oak Creek.
Page, a 40-year-old Army veteran who neighbors say played in a so-called hate-rock band, was the lone gunman in the rampage at the temple, police said.

It's amazing to me whenever a white guy decides , he has seen enough dark faces. He just gets a gun goes out and murders or whatever... the media quickly tells us he is just a punk, loner, or just a misguided individual who has been ridiculed throughout his childhood. you are right. Ironically, if this guy wanted to learn or know more about Sikhism, the doors of their temples are open for everyone..no matter what background or faith they are from. When I was in India, I had nothing but help and care from the Sikhs. They gave me a clean place to stay, food and hospitality. At any time I needed help on the streets, an elderly Sikh person came to the rescue. It is a shame that many Americans know nothing about the Sikhs. Instead of watching Jersey Shore and dumbing TV shows, people should expand their minds, travel so this hate of different cultures and people would diminish.

Why do they have to constantly point out that this guy was formerly a soldier? The Army did not turn him into this type of person; he was obviously filled with this much hatred for a long time. Not to mention, the Army kicked him out after a pattern of bad decision making while he did wear the uniform. He was not a veteran of any conflict, so please stop the attempts to compare a psychopath to that of every Soldier who wears the uniform with honor and the intent on doing the right thing.

WOW! I never picked that up from any article I've seen yet. Yeah they mention his military back ground but never insinuated the military was the reason at all. Maybe your just paranoid.
Last night on CNN, they reported that he told others that if they were not racist BEFORE joining the military they would be AFTERWARD because the reverse discrimination.

Stop trying to glorify people that decide to join the army or police. Yes there is some noble decency that motivate many, but lets face it, it's mostly power-tripping thugs that enjoy hurting people. Inferiority complex ridden, sad individuals that aren't really wanted elsewhere, or would probably end up criminals otherwise. Bullies and meaners that like to order people around and feel superior to those they supposedly serve. It sounds mean, yes, but the fact is, every person I ever met that joined the military did so because they had nothing else to do but get into trouble. These are people that are so insecure inside, they can't survive without somebody telling them what to do all the time, yet, they feel the need to project control onto others, with a gun. It's exactly the same personality type actually, that we see lashing out in uncontrolled anger and abuse like this. Overly aggressive, self-righteous and usually heavily armed, (and let's face, not too smart) these "real heroes" battle depression with a bottle or pills, and we all suffer. Give us all your boo-rah BS you want and go salute this or that. Well considering that most people are foreigners to this country (including people that came over here in the 1700 from europe) would you say that to ALL americans (besides native americans) Should Black people go back to africa if they complain about racism? Also before you make that statement why dont you get together with the law makers and amend the bill of rights to take out freedom of religion.
