I sure hope they will be ok and the dogs will be careful. They are brave and loyal friends. Service dogs are heros.
I live right next to the campus were the parking was being build....it was 2 month away from being completed and yah it collapsed. Classes are cancelled and its been about 6 hours and emergency units are still working there. No school on friday for me....o well!
Tell us that the cancelled classes aren't the only thing you're thinking of and that is a reason to celebrate?
Well cheers to you too! Don't look for any empathy from me if anything bad should happen in your life. Can you even for a second imagine how awful this was for the person who died and their family? Just for one second? If not, please admit yourself to the nearest ER.
"No school on friday for me....o well!"?
I don't think a 'time-out' would suffice for your *lack* of compassion.
While your classes are cancelled, you may wish to use your free time studying what the word 'empathy' means and see if you posess any.
You must be my cousin, because it was my uncle who got squished. He was a nice guy too. They said it squished him good though. Flatter than a piece of paper.
you must live in a trailer park because the man lived in a trailer park with 13 of his relatives.
I think you're lying.
take it easy
Knowing miami dade i bet there was some fraud or delinquency involved.
Goren this you?
Insensative = insensitive? If you feel the need to be critical of others, please get your own comment right.
OMG this is what happens when people under the influence of drugs are working in constructions and are on drugs during the design process and the inspection process.
Somebody's been watching too much House...
The Tool of the Day speaks.
Zee, and how would you know anybody there 'was on drugs?" Just some OMG you had to blurt out or what?
ya gotta love those "right to work" states!
This would never happen in a union state. I mean NYC safety record is bar-none. ahem.
All the floors pancaked to the ground. I mean quesadilla'd.
Please report this comment...how horrible...a tragedy has happened and this is the comment we have to endure?
Miami Dade Fire Rescue has a surgeon on staff? ("We have our surgeon working on him right now.")
Yes they do.For what i know they have trauma surgeons and orthopedic surgeons on call, for this type of incident where they may need to do amputations on scene.
As a nurse I would like to say that is the worst rescue I've ever seen! I'm stunned! There is protocol to follow. Where is the neck brace at the very least! Or even some oxygen.
Uuuuum! Maybe we want to get the person out of harms way before something else happens>? Bleeding to death might over ride the neck brace thing>? Ummm! IDK!
This is awful...
My condolences to the family and friends of the poor soul who passed.
This is a terrible thing to happen.
