Conrad Murray gets bigger cell, but still unhappy

A day after Conrad Murray's lawyers complained he was suffering a "slow death" in a tiny jail cell, the doctor was moved to a slightly larger one, his lawyer said.

Lawyers for the doctor convicted in Michael Jackson's death warned the Los Angeles County sheriff in a letter Wednesday that Murray was suffering possibly life-threatening and permanent injuries from almost a year in a 5-foot-by-7-foot cell.

Authorities transferred Murray to a 8-foot-by-10-foot cell of the Los Angeles County jail Thursday, "but it's not a good thing," his lawyer Valerie Wass said.

Murray was found guilty of causing Jackson's death on June 25, 2009, by administering a deadly overdose of sedatives and the surgical anesthetic propofol in what he told police was an attempt to cure the singer's insomnia.

The new cell has a solid door with only a small window, unlike the old cell that was open with bars that Murray could prop his long legs on when he stretched, Wass said.

You've been in California too long when you really expect to get Ritz Carlton treatment for a murder sentence. "I want to be isolated from the general population for my safety, but comfortably, so I may self actualize in philosophy and the arts," says the murder convict. Alarmingly, he'll probably find a California judge who agrees.

Conrad Murray is the proverbial 'straw the broke the camels back."
I and the public know who were the haystack that crushed an wonderful, clean, wholesome young man named Michael who at that time was with the Jackson 5.
Who it is that demanded he become a freak: his"fans".

Deaths caused by prescription pharmaceuticals are up 41% in Travis county, while deaths related to illegal drug use are up 27%. (last year)
Soldiers are coming home, but is it safe for them to do so? 3% of all active duty have been prescribed SSRI antidepressants that cause REM sleep disorder, a disorder that is both treatable and preventable. Robbed of REM, soldiers commit suicide and other domestic crimes. Suicide rates among active-duty are at all time highs.
    Michael Jackson died in combat.

*Michael Jackson was murdered in combat, rather.
MURDER: The taking of human life with malice aforethought.
I and the public know that it was not healthy and not looking forward to living a long happy life that MJ became a freak for YOU his loving "fans" and your "RIPs" that fall on deaf ears as meaningless slogans.
You freaky people who cheered MJ into a freak have his blood on your hands. You really do need to address this issue in your life, and don't do what MJ did: prescription antidpressants.

  6. Rip-off Artist

Many of you older folks can hear and feel the beats of Marvin Gaye, Al Green, etc...the 70's beat ripped-off by modern day "rap" and hippity hop "artists"...the younger folks attribute those old beats to these new gangstas out of ignorance that is displayed in other areas of their ignorant lives, such as poor report cards and inability to maintain eye contact with an authority figure.
But the rip off of the century was MJ STEALING THE MOON WALK from a S. American bird he learned about when he was a boy. (MJ and I went to the same church. We both had a book with this little bird in it. It really is where MJ got his moonwalk that you credit him with inventing)

Good morning Philip-Not a big fan of MJ, if he is on the radio I might listen or change stations. I think that we have alot of young soldiers coming home from war we definitely will have alot of broken people coming home. We need to have a plan to help them and treat them as they come home. Observation for months and follow up is needed to save them. If they have brain injuries we need to find a way to make them productive or study the brain injuries to better make the soldier as whole as we can. We not only have baby boomers but generations of soldiers to take care of. I think putting them into the Obamacare would be the way to go (the brain injury patients) We have to find a way to help or make provisions to help the families of our heros be able to hold on to their homes and have a normal home life for their children.
As far as the treatment, pills, I think if used properly, at the dose prescribed, what type of medicine they use can make a difference. Although I believe that drugs should not be a 1 drug fixes all, that it be for a prolonged use, and other treatment plans should be used, such as phych's. mind retraining, and any other physical therapy or prostesis needed.
I never wanted them to go to war, I listened to Mr. Wilson and thought he was railroaded by the Bush admin.
As far as Mr. Murray, one cell fits all. Wahhhhhhhh

MJ was a magnificent performer. YES, he had his demons. BUT, just how many of OUR "stars" have we lost due to drugs, etc.? WAY TO MANY!! In this case a "DOCTOR" whose OATH is to heal, was, simply, out for the money!!! To even entertain ANY request from him is disgusting! I would put him in a smaller cell until he shut up or died!!

They need to just leave the troops over there. If you bring them back they will either be drawing unemployment or trying to take other people's jobs. There aren't enough jobs as it is already. We don't need more people here taking them. I say we just leave them over there and let them fight until they can start their own country.

How about keeping them in and monitoring them and keeping an eye on them but taking them to disaster's and using them to help, which may help some who will be doing good, drawing pay still, but helping the united states. How about putting them together and learning a trade such as infrastructure laborers. I think if they need to observed or need a job keep them in or give them something to do that still serves to help our needs in the US.

So CM is whining that his cell is too small?
    He's in a larger one.
He is no more special than any other man found guilty of those same charges.
Suck it up and deal with it; I have no pity for him.

It's to be noticed by the female bird, because she doesn't have to pick *that* particular male to be her mate.
    She has nothing to prove.
    He does.
Many male birds are more vibrant than the female birds.
    Part of nature.

Anyway, this talk about that bird is fascinating.

This is actually true, Males are the more lively and flamboyant of the two.
I as a little girl had two parrots; one named Charlie and one named Gladas.
Charlie would be fluttering around the cage all day long, while Gladas just sat... *stone-faced*, staring straight ahead. lol
We found Gladas keeled over in the bottom of the cage.
Charlie's death was more violent... Mom was boiling some water on the stove ....
    He died the next day.
Males animals tend to be much more fun and easy going as a rule...
