It's neck-and-neck in race for Florida's votes

The race for the White House is basically tied in Florida, a new CNN/ORC International poll shows.

Likely voters questioned in the key battleground state came out for Mitt Romney 49% to 48% for President Obama, but that's well within the poll's margin of error.

Here's the full analysis from CNN's Political Ticker and don't forget there's the final presidential debate on Monday.

      Lol.
      Or, a Chia head.

There are, last time I counted, 4,263 polls, including the "Real Housewives Of Chicago" poll, who cannot even agree who the candidates even *are*.
I don't hold stock in polls.

Florida doesn't start early voting til Oct 27th, at least in St. John's County where I am from. So how they even guess what the outcome will be?

The media needs to hype a close election, national or in states, because in truth the Three tierd GOP has only one isdue they can run on, Obama is going to ban certain type weapons.
There is not a chance in. the hot place that Romney can win and the power holders darn well know this.
To them they already have an agenda that will be put in place and indred the are in agreement of a National Socialist reorganized form of government.
It is the medias job to keep up an impression that voters matter when it comes to policy decisions of atrue nstional measure.
Slaves to a sudtem that is no longer relevant other than a means to cow the populace. or is it sheep the populace. who will line up to be sheared for another 4 years.
Thosewho push for voters want their type voters and are no more than. tjose depedent upon their abusers to admit they are abuded.
They judtify what has become no more than organized criminality they legitimize it because they have no viable alternatives.

I question the validity of any telephone poll. Anyone who has enough time to answer unsolicited calls....is suspect. And if they call cell phones, who the hell knows whose answering. Margin for error has to be 50%.

Has anyone seen the Commercial by billionaire Thomas Peterffy, saying he came from Hungary and they were socialist and trying to scare people in the United States. He came here to escape Soviet rule in his country and made his money in computer efficency service for the stock market. Gee, a billionaire for Romney, surprise. He never mentions what he does for a living, that he is a billionaire, that he made all his money in the United States, and he votes republican because of his money.

I saw that commercial, Obama Mama, and it's cheesy.
It is a blatant attempt to paint our President as a socialist, which is a common tactic for people who do not want to stick with the issues.
What's next, subliminal black and white film of boxcars in the backround?
      Puhleez.
Quite frankly, I laugh at the absurdity of it all!
Wonder if all of his money has stayed here, or if he takes advantage of the offshore accounts that are so prevalent amongst his voter bloc?

  9. Political Scene

The US political scene is just that, a scene. A hollywood backdrop where reality is supposed to be.
To illustrate, notice how campaign attack ads are viewed as 'normal' for the political scene, but if were used in reality, we would laugh. Imagine Joe's Used car Sales running an ad..."Don't buy cars from Bob's Used Car Sales. They're crooks." See? Prolly not. Backdrop is in the way.

  11. Political Landscape

Attack ads work differently for citizens than they do for politicians.
For example, if a citizen business owner of Joe's Used Cars were to run an ad csaying "Bon't buy cars from Bob's Used Auto Sales... Bob cheated on his Illinois State bar exam." the ad would probably not help Joe sell more cars.
That same ad, if it were political, would inspire Joe's customers...not to buy cars from Joe, but rather join-in on attacking Bob. That, or scratching their heads wondering why Bob had to pass an exam before he was allowed into the bar to have a drink.
What works in reality does not work for things that are not real...not genuine. America's political scene is just that, a scene from a staged production. In the backround is nothing more than a stage backdrop hiding things that ARE genuine...ARE true. Like an old wooden backdrop rolled behind actors on a stage, it's not genuine. Look at it. It's made out of wood. Now, look behind it. what do you see?

And if we are looking for the genuine and true, we're not going to find it with in the main-stream media, as they are and have been apart of that production for a very long time.

  12. Political Landscape

We depend on the media to show us what's behind the scenes...behind the backdrop. But big media just shows us another scene. And they show us so many of them and do it so fast...hardly anyone here can even remember what was reported just a few months ago. Like watching a movie for the second or fourth time and saying "oh yeah, I remember this part now." See? You can easily recall intimate details of your real life, but when it comes to staged productions, the producers need to keep reminding you or you will forget.
Our political scene is just that. A scene right out of a picture show.

Very true. Yet, with the internet and youtube we can see who are thinking people; people who care to know what is geniune, what is true.

  13. Political Landscape

Would you not rather see politicians showing themselves off and building you up than attacking the other guy and tearing him down? Of course you would. Because that's how people are, unless you are a crooked people. Crooked with distorted views of reality...like someone on mind-altering drugs. Like a zombie after watching 8 straight hours of video.

If the evidence since the rise of antidepressants and their noted affects, doesn't show distorted views of reality, than no other example could convince a public the skewed mentality of following those who put forth the *play*

Are you crooked or are you straight? (no offense heteros, and not saying gays are crooked)
We are all crooked. 85% of US citizens claim christianity and say this is why Jesus Christ offered-up his life...on behalf of the crooked. If we were straight, there would have been no need for him to die.

Take note, that some will twist the pointing out fallacies to be a finger pointer. When in reality, it's to inform on how well the lies are hid; to unmask the liar. We do indeed all have it coming. Don't let that be lost on those that read his posts; he includes himself as well...
I have also said many times that I will be the first to say "I am far from being perfect".
Finally, it should also be said that just because one is not perfect, doesn't mean, one shold not speak out about the truth.

...and then you have yer born-againers who teach that once yer "Sayeved bye the Blood of the Lamb of the Loard", you can be as crooked as ya want. "Nothing-gah cayan a sepatate you from da loard." they say, once you are "saved". You can have 72 virgins tonight, but tomorrow you are still "Sayaved-dah in da eyes-ah of da Loard.".
See? (how utterly rediculas "once saved, always saved" is)
