A father and son were among the victims of a gunman who remains at large in Inglewood, California, police said.
Police found the mother across the street from the family home, holding a 4-year-old boy who would later die. She herself was shot in the knee and pelvis.
Inside the home, police found the father, 30, huddling over his other children. He too, would succumb to his injuries, police said.
The gunman also shot two other children, a 6-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. The girl was in critical condition and the boy was stable, police said.
A fire destroyed a house in the back of the main property.

Good grief, is the whole freakin world going crazy? This is horrible. May this person recieve every horrendous punishment possible, and when hes caught, and i pray he is, put him in general population! Please dont isolate him from the other prisoners!

I know the kneejerk reaction will be to call for stricter gun control! I hate guns & any kind of violence, but if a man can terrorize Norway, 1 of the most peaceful & non-violent nations, w/strict gunlaws, how can that possibly be the answer, (except keeping guns out of hands of people w/ known mental deficiencies) ! If the man got the gun through illegal means, how do we control that? He wanted to harm these people w/what ever weapon available & started a fire to cover his crime! There is nothing we can do governmentally except throw the book at such people when they're caught! Individually we can make sure we don't engage in activities w/people who seem questionable! Hindsight is 20/20 & we need to bone up on Foresight! We often hear things like, "the guy seemed off" or " was a loner, not engaging w/others" etc.! Use your instinct! If you have doubts it's your instincts trying to tell you something important!!
The only reason the NRA isn't big in the middle east is everybody already has a gun.Those who didn't are dead.
Imagine everybody carrying guns in the street, except kids...concealed or not. No you don't have to imagine... I guess it's like Any of the Taliban control towns in Afghanistan
And so goes our country in todays MODERN world!! These tragadies are becoming so common place that it gets hard to even comment on them. You cannot even understand why the children have to be involved. Just people going crazy and don't give a darn who they shoot or kill. What is the answer? I sure do not know, it is just sad and makes no sense!
