Ozzie Guillen sacked by Marlins

Controversial manager Ozzie Guillen has been fired by the Miami Marlins, the team announced on Twitter.

The Marlins also tweeted comments from the team's president of baseball operations.

"Our managerial search begins immediately and our hope is that a new manager, along with roster improvements, will restore a winning culture," Beinfest added.

You can't praise Castro and keep your job in the US? Yeah, that makes sense. His out of context comments notwithstanding, he is my favorite manager of all time.

The best thing for Ozzie would have been a baseball sock in spring training, inserted firmly in his throat so he couldn't infect everyone with his stupidity.
