11:50 am ET - Romney's battleground tour - GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney campaigns in three battleground states today, beginning with a stop in Avon Lake, Ohio.  He'll also campaign in Davenport, Iowa, at 4:10 pm ET, and West Allis, Wisconsin, at 8:40 pm ET.

2:05 pm ET - Ryan in Florida - GOP vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan spends his day in Florida, beginning with a stop in Fernandina Beach.

3:30 pm ET - Biden campaigns with Clinton - With President Obama canceling his campaign schedule today due to Hurricane Sandy, Vice President Biden will stump for votes in his absence.  Biden will be joined by former president Bill Clinton at an event in Youngstown, Ohio.

    Re; Sandy, 17 people in Lifeboats from HMS Bounty.

    Approx 20 minutes ago, one or our National Canadian TV Stations reported that 14 of the 17 people had been rescued by a U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter.
