Well this starting to look like Libya all over again. All the different tribes and groups ( terrorist or otherwise ) will form a "coalition" in rder to acheive their common goal of removing Assad. Once this is accomplished, they'll revert to their normsl rivalries to see who mght ethe leader. A never ending cycle at best.

      Good morning, Rawr.
I fear that you are right.
In any case, let me reinforce my opinion on one thing: NO US boots on Syrian soil!

Yep, just like here in the United States. A continuous cycle of groups who want to be in charge.

Good Morning banasy (well, afternoon now)

That is my consensus as well. We need to continue doing what we have been doing all along in this internal conflict.
      Humanitarian aid and nothing more.

Under whose umbrella do these people hide. THhey spend no money of own. Expend other peoples lives and can do nothing on own or find themselves not only outside of umbrella but being rained upon by those under it.
They are but pawns and opportunist, pawns to powers outside their nation and financial and selfserving. Individuals.
They do not represent the largest grouping nor what sources outside US propaganda outlets say is largest sentiment of Syrian peoples, "That they do not want US and outsiders choosing their leaders and trying to remake Syria in their own image." This, even the place of meeting grounds. Is a US allied primarily with Saudi and other sunni princes of oil sheikdoms financed operation.
HILLARY set it up and no congressional oversight to represent populace involved.
We will never know the cost in 10's,100's or dare we think billions instead of millions, at a time when our President and its butt kissing congress are demanding cutt backs be made upon our own peoples?
    Get real!
This group is composed of toadys and worse than free lance mercenaries who fight for the highest pay as their only cause.

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.

A trio of old veterans were bragging about the heroic exploits of their ancestors one afternoon down at the VFW hall.

"My great grandfather, at age 13," one declared proudly, "was a drummer boy at Shiloh."

"Mine," boasts another, "went down with Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn."

"I'm the only soldier in my family," confessed vet number three, "but if my great grandfather was living today he'd be
the most famous man in the world."

"Really? What'd he do?" his friends wanted to know.

"Nothing much. But he would be 165 years old."

I said this before Russia intelligence is well positioned in Syria just waiting for the right time to take over, Russia warned the US to stay out and not interfere or war can breakout against the US, the US listened and US can not afford a war against Russia because chine will become an ally of Russia

and how many secular leaders now remain in that area? and which oppressive form of government is Egypt slipping toward now? who wants to guess how many free non-muslims will remain in five years in Egypt if the slip continues? secular governments have much to commend them.

where is that isolated place where all those who forsake reason in favor of conspiracy, slavery and war can be placed, until their dust settles, so the rest of us can live in peace?
