Planned cease-fire fails as Egypt's prime minister visit Gaza

Explosions rumbled through Gaza all night into Friday, as Palestinian health officials reported an additional death in the conflict with Israel, bringing the total toll to 20.

The fighting left 235 wounded, Palestinian officials said, as Israeli officials reported no new deaths Friday, saying a total of three have died from rocket fire since fighting broke out.

There are three ways to end a war, to win, to lose and to make peace. Israel can not afford to lose a war. This leaves the Palestinians with the two remaining options and as long as they are unable or unwilling to make peace they will continue to lose.

Israel does not exist in prophecies, Palestine will gain Russia as an ally and there will be a war Israel will vanish

Israels assassination of Hamas security chief, while there was a cease fire, set in motion this latest chaos.
The only voice that represented not just the millitants and kept them under fairly tight reins now gone left them leaderless.
Not just the militant wing but all the people in Gaza as well, because his was a cabinet post in the peoples choden government rest of leaders went into hiding and inncomunicado.
Sorry can't have decent rational discussion upon Israel actions except in Israel, just way it is.

"...while there was a cease fire..."

WHat "cease fire"???? This guy was eliminated after HUNDREDS of Palestinian missiles were launched into Israel for several days in a row, genius.

Good morning chrissy, Scottish Mama and Benn

I don't know what the deal is, but everything I've posted lately has been deleted. And I haven't even really gone off topic.

...And that's if they post in the first place, which many of mine aren't.
As if the regulars are the problem...if anyone sees Jeff Frank, tell him I don't know what hours he works, and I was just asking him (or his imitator) why thew curious post.
      The hijacker is winning.
      Don't let him.
Sooner or later, he will be either a) forcibly hospitalized for his 'problem', or b) banned.

As was expected a frustrated Netanyahu has unleashed his madness on the people of Gaza. Children, men and women are dying under constant bombardment.
frustrated in his efforts to garner US support to attack Iran and drag US and the world into hell he had to come up with an invasion of Gaza.
US-Iran talks would be sabotaged and Palestinian bid in the U for recognition would be deferred, while the region erupts.

A to sad reminder of Americans apathy , result of false reporting and propaganda.
But there is still hope. The courageous and peace loving Jews in this country have scrambled to organize protests against Israeli aggression and to pressure the Congress to cut off all military aid to Israel.
Both the Jewish Voice for Peace and JStreet are now active even more. Peace loving Americans can offer their support for peace by going to JVP web site.

    I will say one thing:
If somebody is constantly attacking me, and I have the capability?
I darn well will attack back.
This is definitely a two sided story.
Palestine's hands are just as dirty.

Well... and what is "the right side of history" in your opinion? To allow mass murderers from Hamas, Islamic Jihad and similar organizations to kill Israeli civilians while Israelis are not allowed to defend themselves?

So much mis-information. It was originally reported that Hamas military leader was killed in response to the non-stop bombardment of Israel. Can anyone, besides the ones that really know, tell what the real truth is ? I guess it depends on which side of the aisle you stand on for what you will believe is true.
