A Chinese man was sentenced to death Friday for holding six women as sex slaves in an underground lair and ordering the deaths of two of them, state media reported.
A court in Luoyang city convicted Li Hao on charges of murder, rape, organized prostitution, illegal detention and selling pornography, state-run Xinhua said.

we should start adopting the Chinese legal system, that way, we don't spend too much tax $$$ feeding and caring for criminals that deserves to die from the getgo. better to spend these tax $$$ on our education system, transportation, infrastructure, etc.

let us not forget the wonderful job the US dept of Corrections does in returning reformed and fit individuals to society. Yes a model for the rest of the world to follow. The return on investment is so clear . At least $50,000 per year to take care of and coddle the cream of our society......

That is the one thing I like about China...while I'm sure innocent people are convicted from time to time (as they are here) in general, their justice is swift and sure.
I am always amazed that the upholders of the 2nd amendment want to do away with the 8th amendment.
"Sentenced to death" makes me feel like we're still in the Middle Ages.
