[Updated at 11:29 a.m. ET] A nurse at the hospital that was duped by a prank call from two Australian radio DJs concerning Prince William's pregnant wife, Catherine, has apparently committed suicide, the hospital confirmed Friday.
The nurse "was recently the victim of a hoax call," King Edward VII Hospital said in a media statement.
The DJs impersonated Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles in the prank call, in which some details of the Duchess of Cambridge's condition and care were given.
The nurse who died was the person who first took the hoax call and transferred it through to Catherine's ward, the hospital said.

Those two, smiling so proudly on TV after having made that telephone call, should be totally ashamed of

Was it worth this young lady's life? Of course it was not!

Her co-workers, management, neighbors etc drove her to do this. She was made fun off by some and others told her what a lousy job she did. People drive on that kind of stuff and the weak can't handle it. That's Life!

And just because this obviously unstable woman kills here self over it you want to crucify these two radio people for doing no less than a 1000 before them. You people are out of your freaking mind!!!! Tragic yes, am I saying i'm glad or don't feel sympathetic for the woman that decided to do this no!! But to blame the announcers for her taking her own life for such a simple little joke is ludicrous.

What was the cause of death again? Why are we assuming suicide? And if she committed suicide because she transferred a phone call......uh....if this was her biggest obstacle or stumbing block in life then her mental issues are on her and perhaps she was never emotionallly fit to be a nurse.
Or perhaps the ridicule from her co-workers, the royal family, kates family and obviously the press was just TOO MUCH! Did you ever think of that? Instead of everyone jumping on this poor woman they shouldve focused on the squonks that pulled the prank!!!
