Ex-IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, housekeeper reach settlement

A New York hotel housekeeper and former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn have reached a settlement in her civil lawsuit against him over an alleged sexual assault, a judge said Monday.

Strauss-Kahn pleaded not guilty in June to the charges that prompted him to resign from his post as managing director of the IMF. Prosecutors have recently disclosed credibility issues regarding the hotel maid.

I think it could have gone a little like this.
      DSK: You give me discount.
      Maid: $250 dollars!
      DSK: What is my price?
      Maid: No way
      The rest is history.

Just as my step-mother made her fortune, a settlement implies guilt without the need of a courtroom. This guy should not be allowed to roam free without a shock collar on his neck.

With money, we all can get off scott free. But we all don't have money, so we become victims of a broken judicial system.

My father was a victim of a gold-digger. Preyed on him after he had metastisized cancer. Viewed financial information about him prior to their going from friends, to marriage...worked for his financial advisor

Well, they both look very happy in the picture. From her blowing hair you can tell they're climbing in to a helicopter to go whoop up in the Caymans.

Will the fans be willing to come back and pay such high prices for the tickets after being abandoned and tossed away? All these new stadiums that were built in recent years rest empty, food venders out of work team products not being sold, the cities are not bringing in income from so what exactly is this solving here?

Oh, my goodness–well, in my opinion, Mrs.–that housekeeper didn't negotiate this transaction well at all. No.
    She's just highly unprofessional.

Innocent men do not pay 6 million dollars to avoid a Civil Trial if they are innocent. Manhattan DA Cy Vance is from the same social circle as DSK travel in and the uber wealthy do protect each other. It's unfortunate the Justice Dept will not investigate the Manhattan DA office.
