North Korea's state news agency has put out some photos of the rocket launch earlier this week that is believed to have put a satellite into orbit.
This image from KCNA shows North Korean leader Kim Jong Un celebrating with troops.

And here's a shot of the launch.

Yea i was kinda thinkin the same thing. Our tax dollars arent buying food for the north koreans, its paying for this!
On the same days we high and mighty's were condemning for its missle launch not a peep was heard of another nations launch that was also outside the international group signers of anti ballistic treaty,India.
N.Korea has same legal right to have a space program as India; An India that launched their own while bowing low to US political and economic interest, then made a natioal broadcst condemning N. Korea.
No he can't but he has a much bigger bargaining chip than his predecessor.
HB, im not condemming them for having a missile program, i just think their priorities are a little skewed! When you cant feed your own people you got no business spending billions on this! Its like a person on food stamps buying a yaht! Sheesh get real!
they have to compete with the world in order to keep themselves independent from foreign intrusion. Whether anyone admits it or not, not having nukes, satellites, or the capabilities to go into space determine how much pull a country has.
Aint that the truth! Israel has caused more friction between countries than all other countries combined! And Netanyahu just might be the spawn of satan!
Careful there@chrissy my friend of what you say.
There are ears and then there are ears.
Taboo is what it is here in this land of ours.
Let not mighty Congress of the US of A get a whiff of what you think.
lol @ saywhat, do you REALLY think i care what congress thinks of me? Just a bunch of nimbleheads that got lucky get paid big bucks for doin nothing! High end welfare recipients wouldnt know an honest days work if it jumped up and slapped em in the face!
I want some of what Joe and Chrissy are smoking!!! Obviously they reside in Colorado.
I tried to post on this topic yesterday, and a human censor or computer blocked me under two CNN articles. I had quoted some conservative viewpoints in a positive context.
Will this plain vanilla inquiry make it to the board?
My question made the cut, but then I learned that one R-type president's name will not,
No, one of that POTUS's most quoted phrases is also censored.
It was a phrase about peace and how to attain peace.
Republican. California.
Nancy, Gip–

what happened to all the warnings to KCNA America expressed a time ago not to lunch?, looks like America is backing off from telling the world what to do!! clearly a sign related to financial cliff, its a fact when people and countries have no money they lose power.
