Hitler was also Time magazine person of the year (1938), I think we all know how that turned out. Time might be wrong, or right. All said and done, it's a person's face on paper. Let's see how this one turns out.
Many of us living out of the US see Obama as one of the best presidents on US history. Americans have had so many lousy presidents that cannot see what´s going on. It´ll take many decades for US to recognize his great achievements.

What did he do?
Wow, you can't believe everything you see on TV! If you live outside the US you cannot see what he is doing to our great country! He is just as bad as the last two but with a Socialist twist! Our Country is at the mercy of a guy that has no real skills other than organizing people and helping the Mob!!
There is a reason why those outside the US love Obama. That is not a good thing. China was elated when Obama got re elected. That should cause concern.

This just shows how dumb Time magazine is. This guy has done nothing for our country and nothing for the world in gerneral. He is involved with criminals in Chicago. He does not care at all about the people of this country. Sad sad day in America when he was elected, even more of a sad day when he was re-elected and now another sad day that this has happened. Wish the young people and women of our country would wake up and see what he is doing to our country. That will never happen because they are brainless and only see what they want to see.

Many of you seem to be of the mistaken opinion that Time's "Person of the Year" award is intended as an honor.
It is not. As has been pointed out, Adolf Hitler was Man of the Year. So was the Ayatolla Khomeini. So was the PC.
The Person of the Year pick is not becuase of anything wonderful that the person has done. Rather, it is Time's recognition that they were the most newsworthy of the year. In the thirties, Hitler was the biggest news story. In 1980, the Ayatolla was. In the late 80's, the PC was the biggest new story.
The award does not mean that Time approves of anything the person has done, just that they had the most profound effect on the news.

He was NOT made TIME's Man of The Year for his contributions...please read the article. It was his ability to target the most benign group of Americans that know the least about politics and were able to be able to be coerced to vote for him NOT for his achievements of ability to run this office. This is not an achievement but making everyone aware that you can win a presidential seat simply on targeting a voter group with little education or understanding of politics. He is awarded on having one of the best marketing teams. Pretty much every person with Jerry Springer on the brain voted for Obama.
Our society is going lower than rock bottom. We had a choice between GOOD and EVIL, we voted for EVIL. Now we are giving him another award for it. Fiscal Cliff is not our real problem. It's how to restore our founding fathers faith to self rule.

He should be on the face of every magazine and news papper. As we have heard, they all knew about the phisical cliff thing for a long time now. He chose not to do anything because he was running for reelection. The rest of our public officials just chose to wine and do nothing.
The President said he would work on with both sides during his campaign and as soon as it was over he stated he would veto a republican plan without seeing it. That doesn't sound like team work. However I have a problem with people magazine useing him only, they should have got a picture of all of the politicians in washington and took a group picture. They could have captioned it as THE MOST UNCARING AND USLESS GOVERNMENT IN UNITED STATES HISTORY.....
Must be the support of Mr Obama's arab springers that got him the "Person of the Year". Doubt if it was the U.S. diplomatic service.
