Let the endgames begin.
After a Christmas holiday, President Barack Obama returned to Washington from Hawaii and the U.S. Senate reconvened Thursday as the deadline approached for going over the fiscal cliff of automatic tax hikes and spending cuts.
However, the House remained on Christmas break, with members warned they could be called back on 48 hours' notice if needed.
Hopes for a so-called grand bargain that would address the nation's chronic federal deficits and debt appeared dashed for now, with four days remaining to reach agreement on a smaller plan that would avoid the harshest effects of the fiscal cliff's tax increases and slashed spending.
With House Republicans unable to resolve the impasse, the focus shifted to the Democratic majority in the Senate to come up with a way forward that could pass the House and get signed into law by Obama.

The right wing Tea Party extremists have a strangle hold on the House. Boehner is a servant of the Koch brothers, Rupert Murdoch, Karl Rove and the very rich. Grover Norquist has more power than the American electorate. The GOP is spitting in the face of all the citizens in defense of their masters wishes.

Here is an idea how to avoid financial cliff reduce the pay by 15% for anyone that is governmentally employed I guarantee it will create a surplus in 5 years too.

Marriage is a privelege given to you by God, marriage is an agreement between 1 God, 1 man and 1 woman. Government has no place in that agreement. True gays have the government given right to exist, but don't forget the word sodomy came from somewhere showing God clearly does not approve and is the final word.
Now you can believe what you want to believe, but I know what I know and you can't yell me anything about God until you meet the grim reaper as I already have.
Marriage is NOT a priveledge given by God, and denying civil rights to a segment of society because of religious beliefs must always be struck down. This is a secular nation and religious beliefs must never be legislated into law. If you don't want to marry a gay person, don't_but you have no right to deny that to others.

Admittedly abuse of system and welfare programs is a given in any society. That is to be plugged. Calling Pr.Obama the antichrist or Americans feeding off handouts which he in your opinion solely doles out to be relected hardly makes sense.
May not make sense to you, but it's true. Obama has made it much easier to milk the system dry. You should see the welfare junkies cutting up with their government phones and their section 8 housing and food stamps . CNN deletes my post every time I mention the word for the illegal activities they spend their crazy checks on while their sasquatches for kids play in traffic because mommy just uses them as a paycheck.
But hey that's why we call him the food stamp president, as well as do his own people, that government phone is also refered as an Obama by the welfare junkies.

I haven't looked up when Section 8 started, but I do know that it's far older than the sitting POTUS's administration.
Does the system need work? Absolutely. Is the system President Obama's fault? Ansilutely not.
Cellphones were barely available to the public when Reagan was president, you had to be rich to own one and it didn't get used much because airtime was outragously expensive. They didn't start giving away free cellphones to food stamp recipients until 2010. Hence the name Obama phone. Cell phones are a luxury, I need mine for work purposes, but I didn't own a phone at all until 2007.
Life Line was the plan that was set in motion so poor people could have a telephone, the old landline sort. With the people shifting to cell phone usage and dropping landlines, the switch to cell phones was made. Do some research, please.

Because the rich man gives me a paycheck, if you punish the rich man he will decrease your pay, maybe lay you off, or even worse pack up his business and move to mexico. Hollywood South is across the street from the window I pick my paycheck up at. Why? Because California already did tax the rich. If you do that nationally Mexicans will your job when that factoy moves to mexico.
I have a simple question for you greedy 99%ers who want to count someone elses money and demand that they spend it as you see fit, and that question is: How much of your time , your effort, or your money have you given to charity or the less fortunate. If that amount does not exceed that of a 1%er then you you have no right to complain. I spent the night after Christmas feeding the homeless athiests reminding them that jesus fed them.
