Stage set for Obama 2.0

A day after formally beginning his second term, President Barack Obama on Monday takes part in the full trappings of his inauguration by reciting the oath of office in front of a crowd expected to number between 800,00 and 900,000 people.

The nation's first African-American president also will become only the 17th U.S. leader to deliver a second inaugural address before leading the traditional parade up Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.

"Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America's debt limit."

      – Then-Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in a March 16, 2006 floor speech explaining his decision to oppose a request to increase the federal debt limit, then set at $8.2 trillion
Why would he have such a great change in philosophy in 6 short years ???

  3. National Defense Authorization Act

What's the big secret, CNN? Where's your coverage of Obama signing this new law? And why delete any mention of it?
    Are you ashamed of it?

I was reading a few things about Obama being impeached but haven't seen anything on CNN about it. Is this true?

    and

I know that you can't believe everything you read but I'm really curious!

  5. National Defense Authorization Act

This act signed into law authorizes the use of US military to combat terrorism on US soil just like the FBI currently does.
Please spread your impeachment nonsense elsewhere. ty

    Congratulations Mr. President.
Hope & pray that the second term of your presidency goes down in history as one that stood up for the real values & spirit of America. Not the values designed & prescribed by lobbies & special interest and by ideologues, religious right & such.
That America First remains your administration's irrefutable objective. And that the world becomes a better place for all mankind under America's intellectual , wise and visionary leadership-Amen.

Taxing successful people and giving to freeloaders has never been American values, that's the Values of the U.S.S.R. and they don't even exist anymore, gee I wonder why.

    Howdy, @saywhat
President Obama will go down in history as the man who abolished organized and armed hordes of Americans. (commonly called '"street gangs")
The NDAA is how his legacy was signed and sealed. US military forces will make delivery..

Good morning@banasy & howdy to you too @Philip
Could you elaborate for the benefit of other bloggers, though I get your drift.
To lay bankrupting America solely on President Obama's neck is a misconception @Sally.

How much of America's debt burden is food that's already been consumed charged to credit cards?
Did our nationwide obesity epidemic have anything at all to do with our public debt? (leave government debt out, as usual)
