Guantanamo Bay detainees watched inauguration, spokesman says

It isn't just fans of President Obama who tuned in for his second Inaugural address.

Detainees at Guantanamo Bay watched Obama's address and swearing-in ceremonies, Cpt. Durand director of public affairs for Joint Task Force Guantanamo told CNN.

Obama during the early part of his first term had ordered the facility to be shutdown, but later backed down and the facility remains open.

And so we see that Cnn has left out the obvious... WHY would they watch ? There will be more watching in the near future from the array of 160 homeland security prisons now that the NDAA has been signed! I must say after having a taste of looking into what's coming down the pipe, it seems to be coming all together very nicely. No more of this continually madness crime.

The "homeland security prisons" are where Oboombox plans to house his Republican rivals – that`s why he want`s to confiscate our guns. It will be a good fight.

@ofc- you do know that the 1994 republican congress put the Brady Bill into fact and has all this in it. The only new thing Obama added was implementation of what they passed?

Also, will be most satisfying to see the whole cast of characters in this SSRI nightmare going to one of these prisons. I do like the idea of a safer environment. Hey, I'm all for a "no buy list" based on the mental health records of which most are prescribed these SSRI's.

And who says the USA under our divider in chief doesn't torture anymore? The detainees were crying to be waterboarded after being forced to watch that nonsense.

Did berry h obama (I refuse to capitalize that piece of craps name) make certain that all the detainees (or his mudslim brothers) got to vote? Did he serve them tea and crumpets while they voted? Why hasn't he been put in that prison? Because more than half of you listen to a good lie rather than a good message. Jesus, where is a good country when you need one?
