Prison riot kills 50 in Venezuela

A riot at a Venezuelan prison left 50 people dead and dozens injured, CNN affiliate Globovision reported, the latest in a series of violent incidents in the nation's crowded detention system.

Clashes erupted yesterday after local media reported about a planned operation to disarm prisoners at the facility in Uribana, the prison ministry said in a statement.

Venezuela's top prison official said national guard troops entering the prison were met with violence.

    Riots in the prisons
    Riots in the the street
    Riots during soccer games
Does this list sound complete ?

It started in the arab spring
    It started on the field
    It started in the neighborhood.
The thu gs, they would not yield.

This just does not make good sense to me.
    Why people are so cruel.
One day I hope they will relent
    And common sense will rule.
