21 reported dead in Kazakhstan plane crash

A plane crashed near the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan on Tuesday, killing 21 people, a city spokesman said.

"There were 5 crew members onboard and 16 passengers. No survivors," the spokesman said.

There was no immediate word on what caused the crash. Media reports said Almaty was shrouded in fog at the time of the crash and visibility was poor.
