Two fifth-grade boys armed with a stolen semi-automatic gun, ammunition clip and knife plotted to kill a classmate in Washington state but were thwarted when another student informed a school employee, authorities said Thursday.
The two boys, who told police they considered the girl rude and annoying, won't be tried as adults and will be in court next Wednesday for a capacity hearing, said Tim Rasmussen, the Stevens County prosecuting attorney.

anyway girls are usu bigger than boys in the fifth grade...she was probally stuffing them their lockers...lol
you mean girls eat too many calories?
jif it looks like you got alotta love taps in middle school...lol...i was referring to pre-puberty where everyone is basically same size...lol
This definitely sounds like a mental health problem and not a criminal problem...yet.
How terrible that this sort of thing happens at all. We have primate brains, and they haven't evolved very well, so let's just try to stay rational about this despite having brains little better than that fifth-grader's.
Don't be so quick to lable "mean" as "mental health." You insult people who have real "mental health" issues where violence is rare and usually turned inward.
Joke aside this is worrisome. But perhaps we are getting rather used to this sort of thing. Kids plotting and carrying out scary plots.
Where did they steal the semi-automatic from?
probably their tea-party dad...
Make a bet they are Democrats, it takes two Democrat males with weapons to take on just one female. Just look at the Democrat Party with their Queen in Charge Nanci Pelosi, all the Democrat men in that party are missing their testicles and have installed Falopian Tubes, just ask Hareless Reid!!!!
Time to round up all of the problem kids ruining education for the normals and use them for free labor
Yesterday Don Lemon reported on the two boys, age 10 & 11 who planned to murder a girl who they said was annoying to them. He said that the plot was discovered because another student "Ratted them out". Why in the world would you put such a negitive spin on the act of reporting a planned crime which could result in the death of a young girl. This kid who "Ratted them out" should be praised for his action. We need more young people who hear of a plot like this to speak up and tell someone about it and not to be referred to as "rats" for speaking up and possibly saving someone's life. To make it sound like he/she did something wrong is very irresponsibale reporting.
I think he is a hero not a rat or snitch. it was his heart and use of common sense that prevent that girl from being harmed. and also hotline lines for where children, teachers, and faculity should be provided. it can maje school systems a lot more safe.
the government should help make ut safer if not dont they have that moms against drunk drivers why dont they have moms make it safe for school kids?
oh by the way what about the safety of the person who said something?
What happened to just pinching his/her arm and running away? This world has really changed....tsk tsk..
