They seemed so triumphant at the time - the lyrics to country music star Mindy McCready's hope-filled title track to her most-recent album "I'm Still here."
Now, those words sound more like a cry for help.
"On a cold dark cloud, with nowhere to fall but down, like a single, naked, unrelenting tear ... I'm still here."
On Sunday, McCready, whose turbulent personal life overshadowed her success as a chart-topping hit maker, was found dead on the front porch of her Arkansas home - the victim, authorities said, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She was 37.
McCready leaves behind two boys - a 6-year-old and a 10-month-old.

Post-partum depression?
Obviously
I feel bad for her but it was a pretty selfish thing to leave her children without a mom.
Other than the children, not news.
This is extremely sad, but just as predictable as Whitney Houston's & Amy Winehouse's deaths! Some1 should have been w/her 24/7, didn't a court just order intervention & suicide watch? I pray for her family & little boys! Such a loss for them & the loss of a great talent for the rest of us!!
mmm...police need to revisit the crime scene. most mothers would consider the children plus females want to look pretty in thier coffin...gunshot wounds and vanity dont mix ...thinkin it's a murder lookin' likah a suicide...
Is there some reason you have to spell phonetically?
