This just goes to show no matter what the TSA or any airline tries to implement, Flight Attendants will always complain. My experience as a retired pilot for AA has proved that. The truth is this could just be a helpful thing, after all the crazies are few and the helpful tend to be many so more people that have the ability to help in some small way may deter most of the few but no matter what if someone is determined to cause havoc they will ultimately try to find a way, small 2 inch blade or not.
