NE Asia on edge ahead over N. Korea

Countries in northeast Asia remained on edge Wednesday amid warnings from U.S. and South Korean officials that North Korea could carry out a missile test at any point.

Japan has deployed missile defense systems around Tokyo, some Chinese tour groups have canceled visits to North Korea, and U.S. radars and satellites are trained on an area of the Korean east coast where Kim Jong Un's regime is believed to have prepared mobile ballistic missiles for a possible test launch.

After weeks of belligerent threats and provocative gestures from Pyongyang, the situation on the Korean Peninsula is fragile.

Lost me on that one? If we are talking about the followers I was referring to the NK generals and those in power that support the chubby one without question. IF they really wanted to change things they could take him out and maybe even free and feed their own people.

There is really no justification for "innocents" being killed in wars! BUT, with that said, and sadly, chrissy, every war / conflict, and battle plans take into account on how many innocents will be killed, and at some level, whether military or government, if they like the percentage they will OK the plan! Someday, not in my lifetime, we will finally realize that wars are just humans killing humans and need to stop.

Yes i understand that @ ronvan. But i do not nor never will understand anyone being so heartless and cold to dismiss those children dying as nothing! And thats exactly what Ms.Albright did. And we have been led to believe than the single most purpose of these drones was to take out ONE targeted individual! That has not been the case!

Chrissy: I do understand what you are saying and agree with you, but again, heartless & cold are just two items that occur duing wars. And if anyone actually beleives that these drones are so perfect that they can eliminate innocents from being killed needs to do some re thinking. The main thing they provide is that they take an american life out of the equation.

Lol @ ronvan thank you for nulifying what i have said for a very long time about drones you dear man! I was being sarcastic when i said put those drones to good use and as im sure you already read the response about them being used for good already. My personal opinion is they were created with the sole purpose of spying and not neccessarily on the enemy either!

And no im not a conspiracy theorist im just a realist. One who has noticed time and again that our government is weaseling their way into every aspect of our personal lives. And being the egotripping maniacs that most of our politicians are, they will stop at nothing to have their nose in the rest of our personal lives that they arent presently in!

Besides the civilians being killed it has been admitted that they are non-productive & in fact have helped terrorist groups promote their 'cause'.
And promoting anti-American sentiment in the general population.
