10:00 am ET - Gun legislation debate - Senators are expected to begin voting today on amendments to gun legislation, including proposals for tighter restrictions.

11:45 am ET - White House briefing - The marathon bombings, gun control and North Korea will likely be the focal points of Press Secretary Jay Carney's briefing in Washington.

12:30 pm ET - Jodi Arias trial - Trial resumes in Phoenix in the case of Jodi Arias, who's accused of killing her ex-boyfriend in 2008.

1:00 pm ET - Boston Marathon bombings briefing - Hear from authorities on the investigation into Monday's fatal bombings.

    There has been and will always be a threat in US from Home Grown Violent Extremists. According to an official on Tuesday there were 172 incidents of IED's in US in the past 6 months alone.
