Boston bombing suspect could be informed of charges today

Federal officials hope to inform Dzhokhar Tsarnaev of charges as early as today, a Department of Justice official tells CNN's Pamela Brown.

The 19-year-old suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing remains in serious but stable condition in a Boston hospital, where he's under heavy guard.

While a presentment of charges could take place Sunday, an official arraignment would take place later. Normally, a person who faces federal charges must be arraigned within 48 hours.

Good morning to you also @ saywhat. And yes its frustrating that This Just In would feel it so important to tell us about a drunk driver but its not important to update on one of the biggest explosions in our country ie: West, Texas???

One reason that CNN doesn't want you to know: Obamacare and taxing the rich. Companies are overlooking safety and trying to increase production with less man power. I'm watching the same thing happen at my job. So go buy that new Chevy, I will remind you Chevy is dead and Alquaeda is alive after the steering wheel comes off in your hand.

Simple bobcat, that's what caused the explosion in Texas as well as deepwater horizon and the guy who got injured at my job. But leave it to a bunch of liberals to shoot themselves in the foot and ask everyone how it happened.

    Time for immigration law change...

Where's the liberal battle cry for meaningful change to keep Americans safe.

Maybe they need to reform the FBI since they had prior knowledge that these 2 individuals were terrorist risks, eh? Information supplied by Russia.

One of the regular group was sick, so a new member named George filled in. He was very good and pleasant company so they asked him to join them again the following Sunday. "9.30 okay?"George said, "Fine, but I may be about ten minutes late. Wait for me."The following Sunday George showed up right on time. Not only that he played left-handed and beat them. They agreed to meet the following Sunday at 9.30. George again said, "Okay, but I may be about ten minutes late. Wait for me."The next Sunday there was George, punctual to the dot. This time he played right-handed and beat them again. "Okay, for 9.30 next Sunday?" one of the group asked.George said, "Sure if I'm ten minutes late?"Another golfer jumped in. "Wait a minute? You always say you may be ten minutes late. But you're always right on time and you beat us whether you play right or left handed."George said, "Well, that's true – I'm superst itious. If I wake up and my wife is sleeping on her right side, I play right-handed. If she's sleeping on her left side, I play left-handed.""What if she's lying on her back?"George said, "That's when I'm ten minutes late!"

suffice to say just read up on the 9/11 commission report set up in Nov.2002 by US Congress under Thomas Cean. Every American should have done that.

As for these two Chechen youth, they insanely & criminally targeted innocent Americans who have nothing to do with Chechnya's fight for independence from Russia.

This is sad about what happened its not right that people had to suffer over a man's belief about this country. The brother of the live suspect deserved to die for what he did. I wonder y they did this

This whole issue of Miranda is driving me nuts. Miranda consists of two parts.......custody and interrogation. If a person is in custody and not being interrogated then Miranda warnings are not required. If the suspect is unable to talk or be interrogated at this time then you do not have to read his Miranda Warning to him. Please stop acting as if every person who is taken into custody has to be given Miranda at the second the cuffs go on. Watching too much TV.

look he'sah american citizen his miranda right need to be read...upsurping rights is a major no-no...and to use this tragic atrocity to upstage the rights of american citizentry is even a larger atrocity...our laws and rights are not to be arbitrarily and unilaterally set aside by some idiot conference table/room discussions...

Kay, typically even non-suspects are read their Miranda rights as a precaution, even if they are not arrested. This is to ensure that some lawyer doesn't get the whole case thrown out because someone forgets to read someone their rights if they are eventually arrested... And yes, if cuffs are used, Miranda is typically given.
