A military judge on Wednesday set a May 29 court-martial for U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Hasan, who is charged in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, in November 2009 that left 13 people dead.
Hasan is charged with multiple counts of murder and attempted murder charges for the alleged shootings at the post's processing center, where soldiers were preparing to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Hasan's court-martial has been repeatedly delayed since it was initially set to begin in March 2012, most notably after an appeals court delayed the case over the question of whether the Army major's beard could be forcibly shaved.
Death penalty, quickly carried out.
Obama won't say it but I will. Islam is the problem. Point blank.
according to FBI Data Base 90% of acts of terrorism on US soil were carried out by non-muslims between 1980 – 2005.
US News & World Report and Triangle Center on Terrorism & Home Land Security reports that of 300 American deaths since 9/11 from violence and mass shootings 33 resulted from acts perpetrated by those of muslim faith.
The same report notes that 180000 Americans were murdered since 9/11 for reasons unrelated to terrorism.
Read these reports & FBI data.
As for Hassan, death penalty and quick disposal.
@saywhat,bring out the snipers for practice and make them use their Barrett M 107,50 cals at about 500 meters and you'll see an awsome display of real fire power and its good to keep the guys well trained right!!
Enemy combatant? Oh wait, he was a Major in the U.S. military. For how long? And they couldn't see it coming?
I feel safe now.
Nice orange jump suit, but he still looks like a chiuawa.
SHAVE IT OFF!!!!! Technically this POS is still in the Army, under their control and the UCMJ. As a TRAITOR, and disgrace to the uniform he deserves NOTHING!
Try him, and get this trial over!
Justice has been denied the victims and their families of those killed in cold blood at Fort Hood. End this travesty!
Enough of this political correctness! He is a member of the military. Let him serve as an example to those whom have served with honor
If he is found to be guilty, shave him, force him to report in full and proper military uniform, and in public, for the world to see, defrock him, stripping him of US insignias, military rank, and commission as he is ejected from service of our Nation. Then, immediately carry out his sentence.
If he wishes to grow a beard after the ejection from the service, fine. He will no longer be in the military.
Do your job members of the court-martial.
