Putin announces split with wife

Vladimir Putin's nearly 30-year marriage has ended, the Russian president and his wife told state-run television in a joint interview.

"This was our joint decision. Our marriage is over," Putin told Russia 24, standing next to Lyudmila Putin, in an interview shown Thursday. "We almost don't see each other. We have different lives."

30 years of memories and two grown children is better than 30 years of no memories and no children.
    Good luck to them both.

Ahhh ken, those have not been scandals. They have been incidents blown out of proportion. Our president will easily manage. Don't listen to all the toothsayers, including the New York Times and angry know it all republican bloggers.

Reminds me that GOP had declared via Mitt Romney that " Russia is our no1 geopolitical enemy".
A GOP delegation was recently in Russia placating the leadership and declaring "their enemy is an enemy of US".

And that also begs the question of Who is Russias enemy. I mean other than their inner struggles with muslims of the caucusus regions.
That's an easy question to ask since you really don't hear of much strife outside of their borders.
In this case, I feel they are just making a statement, ie, You have the countries that you fully support, eveb to the extent of backing it in war, and now we are letting you know, so do we. Just as we do, they feel they every right.

Morning everyone. @ saywhat, I would add... Russia looks out for Russia. Just as every country looks out for itself, which is only natural. But if they don't fulfill the contracts, which they have currently assured the world they would, it is Russia that will lose out. If they do not send what Syria has lawfully purchased and what is rightfully hers, who is going to trust Russia's signature to anything?

I had just quoted Romney, hoping it would elicit informed comments. That is if bloggers are not blocked but i see that happening.
