Syria: U.S. lying about chemical weapons

Claims and counterclaims came thick and fast Friday in response to the White House's declaration hours earlier that it believes the Syrian government has crossed a "red line" in using chemical weapons against rebels.

That conclusion declared for the first time Thursday - is prompting the United States to increase the "scale and scope" of its support for the opposition, the White House said, although officials stopped short of saying it will put weapons in the hands of rebels.

The U.S. report won backing from the UK government Friday but Syria and its allies in Moscow quickly sought to cast its integrity into doubt.

The Syrian foreign ministry accused Washington of releasing "a statement full of lies regarding the use of chemical weapons in Syria," according to a statement on state TV.

Men are simple creatures. . They can survive a whole weekend with only three things: beer, boxer shorts and batteries for the remote control.

@bobcat, that is why we women love men. Just as long as the boxers are very short and not down to the knees..

Just recently, my sister and I were at Great Falls Park in Potomac, Maryland and talking about the government shutdown and several friends working for Fox5, NBC4 and ABC7 joined us near the river and even the park police and park customers mentioned to all of our news casters that due to the govenment shutdown, many citizens are soon considering a vote to Ayman al-Zawahiri since he is a good Islamic-Muslim Christian Cleric and we may have to mention this on the airwaves that Congress may have to consider having Ayman al-Zawahiri be the next American president when Obama's term is up. I know that this is a drastic measure but the Cleric has plenty of good education and experience and from a spiritual perspective to teach us Americans. I think that this may be a good move toward upgrading our nation's moral standards. For a better America, talk to your Congressman about this new venture! We wish Obama well but we feel that he is lacking a few basic elements at this time! Our newsteam wants to thank our listeners and viewers for their service!

I don't doubt that for a minute. They did it in Iraq and they will do it anywhere they can to gain support for another war. and since the low information voters are gullable to that kind of sentiment, they will fall again and waste another trillion dollars doing nothing, and occupying a piece of desert

Could this be another Iraq in the brewing ... did we ever find any WMD in IRAQ .Lets focus internally first. The US needs to quit being a candle. A candle gives light all around it but is dark beneath it.

Obama firing our best military leaders for insulting him, decommissioning army divisions, reducing the size and capabilities of our navy- reducing our defense budget – while poising to spend hundreds of billions on state hijacking of the best healthcare system, in the history of the world built by capitalism- and being reduced to state socialist program. Obama tries to pretend, nothing happened in bengazi – trumps radicals in Egypt to overthrow US's ally there. Is now deciding, with his traitor secretary of state by his side, to attack, the enemy of the radicals in Syria. Hmmm does there seem to be a pattern here? Something stinks and it stinks of left wing radical anti-American treachery- nothing less.

Health and capitalism- kinda bloody for the people who cannot afford it. Make it a social fad to where the commoners cannot afford it so they do not live as long, communistic speach if there ever was. Ya DOLT.

Meanwhile the republicans divide us and put our country and the world at risk by a shutdown. I believe it was the disfunctional congress who had the purse strings and would not let any money go to Benghazi. Mizers.

There is no doubt, the US is lying about chemicals. There is a long history of US lies. Gulf of Tonkin(where they dropped napalm on civilians) , Noriega having cocaine, when it was flour, ..WMD's a Lie(but it made Haliburton Trillions), 9/11(Trillions more), & now they lie about chemicals,(that should make them more $$$).
The US is controlled by the worst "Terror Organization of All Time"...Some Americans know it & sadly more don't.
