ESPN's Erin Andrews target of death threats, attorney says

Erin Andrews' attorney says the ESPN reporter and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant has been the subject of death threats since the end of March.

Marshall B. Grossman says several threatening e-mails regarding Andrews have been sent to sportscaster Dan Patrick starting in September. These e-mails, “until very recently, were of a sexual nature but then turned violent,” Grossman told CNN.

In March, an Illinois man was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for secretly recording images of Andrews in the nude.

ESPN reporter's stalker gets 2 1/2 years

A federal judge sentenced an Illinois man to two and a half years in prison Monday for taping ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews through a hotel-room peephole and posting the video to the Internet.
