Police: 'Low intensity' explosion hurts 5 in Karachi

Five people were wounded in an explosion in Karachi, Pakistan, Tuesday, police told CNN.

Karachi police official Amir Farooqi described the blast as a "low intensity" explosion caused by a bomb planted under a freeway underpass near
the Chandni Chowk area of Karachi.

He said women and children were among the injured. Police are investigating the explosion, he said.
