Obama to sign health care bill Tuesday

President Barack Obama will sign a landmark $875 billion health care reform bill into law at the White House on Tuesday, according to two Democratic officials familiar with the planning.

The bill passed the House of Representatives late Sunday night. It was approved by the Senate in December. A separate package of changes passed by the House on Sunday still needs to be approved by the Senate.

    Dear Americans,

I am glad that your country actually starts to actually behave like a "union" of people and less like an "assembly of individuals".

Living in a world of free enterprise does not mean never share with others, and a Society is much more than watching the same game on TV and having the same flag...

    Congratulations on your evolution!

As a side note and before it is mentioned, I am not, never was and never will be a socialist or a communist.

In case he hasn't noticed – we are NOT happy about this. Isn't he supposed to be doing what is in the majority's best interest???? Our founding fathers are spinning in their graves right now over this decision. And if Obama follows through with this, it will come back to haunt him.

This is a very historical moment in American history. Let's hope that this will help the people who really need to be helped. Times are hard and its good finally see something go right.

This isn't a health care bill, its a tax bill. 20 new taxes, not a single campaign promise kept, 16,000 new IRS agents who will only serve as a collection agengy for this unconstitutional bill. No one is against health care reform. It seems only the informed are aware of what this is really all about. Page 1,000 Harry Ried inserted that this bill may not be revoked, changed, or tampered with.

Write a note to your kids/grandkids Cher. That way in 30 years you can pull it out and present it to them as a gift as they are crushed by the coming tax rates. Tell them how smart you were. After all, not a single goverment sponsored prgram has stayed within budget in this countires history. What could go wrong. I mean, Medicare/Medicade/social Security have all proven to be catastophic failures. I;m sure it will be different this time around.

And at 1 TRILLION dollars we are told its not a perfect bill. For ONE TRILLION dollars, I damn well expect a perfect bill. I expect more for MY tax money. But then again, I am a producer, not a taker of the American way of life.. "Where's my Obama cash?"
