Pakistani police foil terror attacks, police chief says

Pakistani police have foiled a plot by militants to attack several locations in Islamabad frequented by foreigners, Islamabad Police Chief Bin Yamin told CNN.

Yamin said Noor Jahan and Rashid Bakhtar were arrested Monday at a hotel just outside Islamabad. The two were former members of Pakistan's paramilitary force, Yamin said, and worked for Qari Hussein, the notorious trainer of suicide bombers for the Pakistani Taliban.

Yamin said the two planned to attack the Serena Hotel, a luxury five-star hotel in Islamabad, the French Club, a restaurant inside Islamabad's embassy enclave, an Islamabad girls' school and a police station. The two were also  linked to the suicide bombing of the World Food Program in Islamabad and the suicide attack in front of the Naval academy last year.

- CNN's Reza Sayah contributed to this report.

its very country can completely eradicate terrorism...if USA has failed to finish them for so long than other countries hardly stand a chance...why US taxpayer money is going to the focus of terrorist is on Pakistan (an easier and closer target) and not on the US...thus daily many pakistanis lose their lives through insane bomb attacks instead of the US citizens...US taxpayers' lives= some pakistanis dead + a few millions in aid to pakistan+all blame on pakistan (definitely a good deal)

You guys Indians and Pakistanis should relaize that you are inherently the same people though I culd get the worst treatment for this. You are more like the Koreas (North and south) the people in the middle east, the people in Rwanda the people in Yuglsvia/ Bosnia and Herz, Taiwan and main land China, and the list can go on. Hatred does nothing but keep kiling inocent lives, despite religion/language/ political ideologies and whatever else people think separates them or makes them better than the others.
it kills and it keeps coming back for more. I happend to have been raised up in one of the obeve mentioned "groups" and I do wish we could all see the real issues and face our own short comings. The world would be a better place.

It would be very interesting to see the definition of Terrorism. No one can justify the acts of suicide bombers so no point arguing on that.\how do these people get so much monetary support and militia?where does it all come from ?is it totally cuming inside form pakistan?can any one nation be that poisnous?certainly not.As far as India is concerned thr RAW is so wise n humane that just sit back and foil the attacks.BTW recently a serving army officer from INDIAN army held for killing Massacre of 60 odd people of SAMJHOTA express.
